The game is pretty good, the idea is good but with some flaws.

(𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲)

The leveling system needs a rework so stonebuildings are accesible a lot sooner, ive been playing for like 8 hours (in one world) and didnt unlock the stonebuilding yet.
Obviously i didnt "tryhard" for levels so you might be able to get to level 18 (required level for stone buildings) in under 2 hours but for a normal player thats crazy.

Or the burn mechanic needs to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nerfed, i hit my building with a torch on accident and the whole building catched on fire, it didnt even take 20 seconds for the whole structure to be completly gone.

The BUILDING-MECHANICS is super wonky and not fun to play around with, so if you are looking to build cool pretty houses/castles with your poke- pals then this game is not ready for that yet.
Storing your precious items can be a real pain in the ass since the normal chest only has 10 slots and its not clearly communicated wich "decorative" items are more usefull as containers

The COMBAT-MECHANICS are also pretty easy to master and it very quickly feels like there is not more to explore, just gear dependent stuff.

𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: while climbing, the space-bar could be used to actually jump a little distance instead of just dropping the player.
The AI of the tamed Pals should be improved when they are working in the base, im regulary catching my pals being stuck in positions where they shouldnt even be able to go, there are also foods that heal more SAN then others but dont give as much nutrition, it feels kind of like a waste when the pals eat those high SAN foods even tho they dont need SAN at the moment.

It feels like the game is very dependent on that first "wow" experience you get when finding and catching new pokemon but thats okay since its in the beta.
I will change the review to positive once the "bad" points are fixed.
