You can probably just look at my hours and already tell I recommend this game. This is one of, if not my all time favourite RPG ever. It is a bit rough around the edges, struggles to run without mods, and looks very outdated in some areas both in terms of gameplay and graphics, however the story is absolutely amazing. There's so many outcomes you can create in this game without much indication other than context clues in conversations, this game expects you to pay attention if you want the story to have a somewhat happy ending, and I love that. It's so rare to see these days as many RPGs lack so much of the story freedom these other titles had.
This game is amazing and I strongly recommend giving it a try if you enjoy old school RPGs and story rich games.
