Play with low gravity, puck, 10X boost and infinite boost for best results.

In short, it not's worth your time or money. You've probably seen some Let's Plays of people having fun in prophunt or TTT, or some showcase of amazing builds.

In reality, the servers all seem to fall under 2 catergories.
1. The lawless wasteland: Either there are no admins, or they just don't care. If you're in build mode, the spawn will be covered in perpetually exploding dynamite, and if you survive that, anything you build will instantly get destroyed. If you're in another gamemode, expect unending RDM, and admins spamming the "!slayall" command. While this is going on, someone is exploring the litims of pain that can be induced through a microphone, unstopping, endless, hell.

2. The police state: You spawn into the server and are greeted with a list of at least 100 extremely specific rules. If you close this, an admin will quiz you, and permaban you if you get any detail wrong. If you do read them, you will find yourself either kicked or banned for idling by the time you get to rule "57;clause R2". These rules are followed to the letter, no exceptions. Did you duck behind cover because someone is shooting at you? That's prop blocking *banned*. Did a traitor throw a grenade back at you in TTT? That's RDM *Banned*.

Ok, so what about single player? There is none. You can either download a custom campain map map (which are worse versions of HL2 mods, except they will probably break your game, and come with missing assests), or Build in sandbox. Sandbox build is okay, but it is rarely if ever updated, and any updates that do happen either break it more (The last update broke the wheel tool for me), or make it worse. Many people download mods to add to the tools library, which while they really unlock the potential of the game, are often a massive pain to install, clash with other mods, and sometimes they corrupt your game, requiring a reinstall and making you lose everything. Inherent flaws with the duplicator tool also mean that your creations will degrade every time you save them, and "Advanced Duplicator2" (which was the best way to fix this) has dissapeared from the workshop.

TL;DR Game sucks in everyway, and will only get worse due to it's inherent flaws.

But what do I know... I only have 1000+ hours in this game.
