So much potential but serious issues from the various Alpha and Beta tests have never been addressed.

I had a lot of fun playing but the larger issues have made me a bit disenchanted. The game is a bit of grind and that's what I enjoyed. The joke is that it's the same 4 quests copy/pasted and that's pretty much it.
The faction system is interesting but with all the pvp exploits, it's quickly become unbalanced with one faction taking control of most of the map. Town owners will just give up and there's no way to replace them outside of a war. There's very limited slots for these wars, with low chances of ever getting to see one.

It was fun with friends but that's my only recommendation.

Great game for any survival horror fan.

It's really 2 games in one and you will always like one side more than the other but there's nothing wrong with that.
Killers seem more OP then they are, more so at low levels. The ranked climb can be a bit of a slog, but highly possible for either side. People complain about the same meta builds but everything has a counter and requires the game to be played to unlock the required perks.

But like many games, the community is trash. Most survivors I encounter are good sports but there are the odd "rotten apple" that will just dc at the slightist chance that they might die or get mad when they get killed. Point farmers are all too common and can all go eat a bag of ♥♥♥♥♥ imo. They act so entitled and childish when they game ends too soon or the killer just smacks them in the face instead of playing along.

Either have a thick skin or just play with friends. If you have 4 other friends, it can be a very fun game (3 if you just want to queue as a survivor team). Just be prepared for concentrated salt from randos.

I'd rather have space on my SDD than have it fill up with Creation Club crap.

Early Access Review
While the key/crate microtransactions are far from the worst I've seen, the issue is that it's STILL in early access and they're expecting people to buy keys as well as the game's base price of $30-$40.

Add to that the reacently added pointless "appeal to all the CoD players" PVP mode and the current censoring of negative feedback by the devs and you have a big pile of don't buy.

If you want to kill zombies with your friends, get L4D2. It's cheaper and doesn't try to nickel and dime you.

Early Access Review
I had to stop playing to write this review, that is how much I want to praise this game.

I heard about this game and fell in love with the idea.
Basically Slime Rancher is a more cute, 3D, Harvest Moon-like game. I put off buying it for awhile, I finally gave in and I'm glad I did. I think this is going to be another one of those games I'm going to be up all night playing without noticing because it's just drawn me in so well. Everything is so calm and cute, atleast until "The Tar" appears, then all hell breaks loose with slimes everywhere. Some are nice, some are nasty and others that are imagnitive to say the least.
Still it has got a few cons, it's very pricey for how little is there and some people maybe turned off by that. But I'm ok with that, I can see it keeping me entertained long enough to justify spending $20. The map isn't very big and is interesting but very small for this type of game. The devs have said more is planned, but currently small is the best word for it.
I'm not calling it a must buy yet, but I probably will if the devs add what they plan to.
If you like cute and just want a relaxing game, it forfills that. But like I said it's pricey, so if you can live without it, so you might want to wait for a sale.

It's much better use of both your time and money to track down a copy of Sacred 1.

I had only heard bad things about this game and most of them are true.
It's very boring with none of the charm the first game had. I would of loved a "lazy" reuse of the last game's engine sequel, atleast that would be better than this.
Most of the quest are the same old "go here, kill this" quests and it controlls like it was programed for someone with 6 fingers on each hand. Switching abilities is a pain and is hard to do in combat.

The characters are stereotypes of the ones in the first game, that were stereotypes to begin with, with a completly pointless customisation slider that just makes them all look the same. Not that it matters beacuse to be able to see more that 2m in any direction requires the screen to be fully zoomed out.

The map looks like someone lent on the brightness way too much and forgot what "open world" means. Sacred ! was this world slowly falling in (and part of) hell, so very dark. Also it might look open but it's just a series of paths boxed in by invisible walls with little to nothing worth discovering in it.
Basically it is "Baby's first Vanilla Fantasy Land",
"Tired of getting lost in a open 2d world?"
"Try our quest trail and fast travel systems to totally remove all sense of exploration or acomplishment."
"Plus we've made the whole map boring and lifeless so you can be prepaired to know what real life is like."
and so on.

Compaired to the first game it's bad, as a game on it's own, it's worse.
Spend the $20 on a better fantasy game, there's a ton of them out there for much less.
I'm happy to of got this on sale, even then it was still a rip-off.

This game can be best summed up as an acid trip. After a long day it's great to enjoying it's cartoonish ways.
I recomend it if you want some stupid fun.
It is short but you'll always be finding something new each time you play.

I find people are too negative on this game. It's a very nice MMORPG with intersting characters and maps.
It is not pay to win, it's pay for conveniance. Sure some of the timers take ages and farming at low lvl is hard but you can chose to pay to bypass them. Plus all the features in one form or the other are free, you only have to farm for upgrades or pay so others can farm.
Basically if you like WoW or want to get into MMORPGs without having to pay a subscription fee, give Neverwinter a go. There are no good or bad classes and you can delete your character and restart as many times as you want. The game doesn't hide behind timers or paywalls like most would and doesn't slow down because of them. Most of the timers are in optional micromanaging/upgrading features that don't hinder gameplay in the slightest.

I really enjoy this game and I know alot of people that do too. 8/10
