This isn't some kind of hardcore flight simulator, and it doesn't pretend to be. Keyboard and Mouse controls work very well, it's not something that demands special hardware to properly play.

Easy controls, very quick battles, extremely accessible gameplay.
Good attempts at mission variety, some base and aircraft and pilot management to add another dimension to the game outside of the combat.
Jump in quick, skirmish with some WW2 aircraft, and have some instant fun.
The perfect 'arcade' flyer.

Just a shame it doesn't seem to be getting any more updates. It could use more polish on some rough edges, and just more awesome stuff to add to the game. Would like to take on more big American bombers with German fighters, the Japanese just aren't up to the task but it seems the Germans never encounter American enemies in the random mission generator.

Even though it's free to play, I didn't mind buying a bit of their MTX.
