Witcher 3 is nothing short of a masterpiece. I went into the game almost completely blind, having known nothing about the witcher universe prior to playing. While it was a bit difficult to play towards the start of the game, due to me not knowing many of the gameplay mechanics, it eventually evened out and became one of the greatest games I've played in recent years. There's so much to do in this game and the story was absolutely phenomenal, on par with Cyberpunk 2077. The open world was breathtaking and extremely immersive. Highly recommend and overall I would rate it a 10/10! The DLC's were also a 10/10 as well, especially the blood and wine DLC!

As a huge fan of real-life police interrogations and stories about crime, L.A Noire delivered the best detective story I've ever seen in a video game. I loved every minute of this game. The game required me to critically think about the clues, the victims, witnesses, etc. Very few games do this, and L.A Noire was able to accomplish this without ever feeling boring. It really put my brain to work, more than 99.9% of games I play. Combat was very basic sometimes, and the graphics are a bit out of date. Also it only runs on 30 FPS, but I was able to download a mod that allowed me to run it at 144 FPS. They put A LOT of effort into the 1940's atmosphere, and you can tell right away. Very immersive game and great story. Ending did feel a slight bit rushed, however. Overall 9/10.

One of the greatest games I've ever played. Absolute masterpiece in every category. Graphics are out of this world, story was phenomenal, combat was stellar. I bought the game with very high expectations, and my expectations were exceeded. Words cannot express how awesome this game is. I'm not typically into Japanese themed games, but this game blew me away. I have no complaints. I cried so much at the end of the game. 10/10!

Developed by Machine Games, Wolfenstein 2 takes the Wolfenstein trilogy to new heights. After the success of The New Order, many fans were wondering how a sequel can possibly live up to the excellent story and gameplay of the original. I myself had these fears going into playing The New Colossus. While the story is more goofy this time around, Wolfenstein 2 improves the gameplay of both The Old Blood and The New Order. It takes what fans loved about the first two, and kicks it up a few notches. I absolutely loved my time spent playing the game, and it was one of the most fun story-driven FPS games I've played. Is it over the top and too unrealistic at times? Yes. Does it constantly poke jokes and sometimes resorts to using toilet humor? Yes. But that's the entire point. It's both satire and parody, and Wolfenstein 2 delivers both in an astonishing and epic fashion. We get to explore more about the background of "Terror Billy", and how he faced many instances of physical and emotional abuse by his father. These aspects help us feel empathy and compassion for William, and better helps us understand his motives. While I preferred the more serious and gritty tone of The New Order, I can't help but feel Wolfenstein 2 is just as good. They are both vastly different, but in unique and interesting ways. Both hold a special place in my heart, and I recommend everyone to play all three of the modern Wolfenstein games. All three were absolutely amazing and worth every penny I spent on them. If you're looking to kick some nazi ass with a compelling and dark story, this game certainly delivers.

OVERALL RATING: 9.5 / 10

As a massive fan of the hero shooter genre, Paladins is a game unlike no other. I have been a long supporter of the game for years, having played it back in its BETA. While other games do similar things, Paladins stands out from the crowd. The "shop" feature gives the game limitless possibilities, and allows for strategic and immersive gameplay. Tired of getting destroyed by the enemy tanks on the other team? Simply use the points you earn from playing the objective/killing others to spend on the shop item that lets you deal more damage to shields during that match. After spending 500+ hours on Overwatch, it starts to get repetitive. With Paladins, however, the shop system changes gameplay drastically so that no match ever feels the same. The game is free to play and offers tons of champions that fit your playstyle and needs. While not every champion is unlocked upon download, it is very easy to earn the champions through leveling up. This is different from how Overwatch handles it, where they make the new playable character locked behind a battlepass which requires tedious grinding to obtain. Overall great game and much much better than Overwatch. Only issues I have with it is the fact that I wish there was more maps in the game. 9/10

Black Mesa is a game unlike no other. While I'm rather new to half life franchise as a whole, having only finished playing the games about 1-2 months ago, Black Mesa I would say is one of the best half life games I've played. While it's not official Valve half life, it still does an excellent job at doing what Valve does right, immersive and engaging storytelling. The graphics are amazing, and Xen truly is a breathtaking experience. The gameplay is fantastic, and each of the weapons feel unique and different from one another. Each level is carefully designed, and no puzzle is either too hard nor too easy. If you're a fan of the Half-life franchise, and you're looking at playing a modern remake of the original, this is your huckleberry.

Battlefield 2042 was a game that had an absolutely terrible launch. After having pre-ordered the $110 deluxe edition, and after seeing all the hype for the trailer, I was incredibly excited to play the rich and developed world of Battlefield 2042. Unfortunately, the game was riddled with bugs, performance issues, and other glaring issues. Because I didn't want to lose out on my money, I decided to force myself to play the game, even with all of its mistakes. Looking back on it, this is a decision that I do NOT regret. The game has only gotten better since launch, and now is one of the best battlefield games released.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but Battlefield 2042 has been one of my favorite, if not my favorite, battlefield game in the franchise. A game that once had a terrible start is now finally starting to turn around for the better. The gameplay is incredibly fun and engaging, and the maps are good. As a fan of the hero shooter genre (Overwatch, Paladins, Rainbow Six Siege, etc), I am glad that Battlefield tried new things. The specialist system I love, and I like how it adds a lot of diversity to your playstyle.

With that being said, there are still a lot of things they can improve. It sucks that we have only gotten one map per season alongside a map rework of the previous launch maps. The launch maps were so bad that they had to redo all of them. Because of this, they were not able to allocate as much time as they would have towards developing new maps. Battlefield 2042, with its amazing infantry and vehicle gameplay, suffers from a severe lack of content. Hopefully since they will be done with the final map rework, the one launching one week from this review, that they will focus more heavily on developing new content, instead of fixing the old.

All in all I rate the game a 9/10. If you're a battlefield fan and want a fun and engaging battlefield experience, I say it's worth it!

Very good strategic first person shooter. The community can be very toxic at times, but other than that the game is quite enjoyable to anyone who enjoys class-based first person shooters like Team Fortress.
