DON'T BUY

The game seems to have a mildly interesting story but it is barely functional from technical POV.
I've encountered a lot of bugs( some of which were mentioned in threads from 3 years ago and are still not fixed), including a gamebreaking one which prompted me to write this.
It shows that the game had little to no QA time.

Here is a list of some of the things I encountered and that could've been avoided if devs spent a bit more time working on the game:
* You cannot change any options from the main menu. You need to start the game to do that.
* If you set the game to be played in windowed mode, the game still launches in fullscreen after closing it down.
* The brightness slider in settings simply applies white/black tint on everything
* The contrast slider in settings doesn't work
* Screen is flickering when loading to a new location and in main menu.
* The character sprites are loaded and then suddenly resized to proper size.
* When changing location the character is teleported to the very right side of the map, falls to the bottom of the screen before being teleported to correct place.
* Some options in the square choice boxes straight up don't work/work only after being clicked on multiple times
* In choice boxes some text is unreadable when against a lighter background.
* A few hours into the game when yakuza types take you to a bar with a girl with tatoos on the arms the game doesn't display any interface elements, making it impossibe to progress past that point.

SUPERHOT MIND CONTROL DELETE is pretty much just more superhot.
Gone is overarching mistery but in it's place there are more levels with you play in random order and with different starting locations in each one. New enemies are nice addition with the exception of the immortal dog.

Agen A is a myst style puzzle game.
If you enjoyed it when back when you'll most likely enjoy this game too.

I will not comment on the "graphics design" of this game. I will however say that it is nice to see a game made in vector graphics, and the whole game feels coherent.
The gameplay is another rehash sokoban but with limit on the number of moves you can take. There are 9 puzzles in total+ 1 real time section.
The puzzles are quite managable aside from the 9th one which is a sudden spike in difficulty and can take quite a bit longer to figure out.
Overall, the game is nothing too special, but it's free and can run on a toaster so it would be unfair to nitpick.

I think it is worth playing.

I don't care how great the game is. The camera controls are inverted and changing the options in the settings doesn't do ♥♥♥♥.

Even though I have gotten the game for free i cannot recommend it.
You are moving by holding the left click down which is both imprecise and infuriating, the interface symbols are unreadable, there's no sound at all (even though there's plenty of royality free music out there) the graphics is ugly with differently sized pixels for background, foreground and characters.
The storepage claims there is a story, but what is a point of it if the game is not fun to play?
This feels like "my first video game". Not somethng that should be sold.
If you are looking for free games search for jam games instead on your search engine of choice.

I am writing this review after beating the game both in normal and new game plus mode.

The game concept is good, A "turn based" action/stealth game. I really wanted to like it because it looked so promising. Unfortunately because of the execution I can't.

The difficulty is all over the place. Some sections are a cakewalk while others nearly impossible.
With the latter the game turns into a frustrating mess where you wrestle with the controls to allow you to execute your plan.
The game is inconsistent in it's mechanics. The jump acrs are not accurate (which in game about dodging bullets is awful), the enemies sometimes spot you and sometimes don't when performing the exact same actions. It is really easy to get yourself into a check mate situation when no matter what you do you die.
This would be easily forgiven if it was a free jam game but not in a paid product.

Also the hints. "this is not a stealth game". Then why have mechanics that incentivise it?
"this is not gunpoint" no ♥♥♥♥ sherlock.
"the jump arc is a lie" I know, ♥♥♥♥ you.

If you're looking for good 2d stealth game, do yourself a favor and play mark of the ninja or gunpoint instead. Those are infinitively more rewarding and polished.

A great game if you like metroidvania

Update 30h later: This game is works every cent the delvelopers are asking for it.
The artstyle is beautiful, the music is climatic. The combat is hard but fair (except soul master, ♥♥♥♥ him) and although I'll probably never finish this game as I'm not GUD enough I don't regret playing it.
