If you like the old gothic games, this is for you.
The game is unforgiving, but always warns you beforehand, that you may not want to do XYZ.
Further you have quite a good degree of freedom how to handle some of the quests, or even parts of the main story quest.

Was fun as long as it lasted, still a good game - but not enforcing the linking to sonys PSN Service from start due to "technicle issues" and selling the game in countrys where this service is not even available sounds fishy and feels like a money grab/sony trying to force players to sign up to PSN for their shareholders. Another great game which was destroyed by compane greed.

Gutes Spiel mit viel Potential, leider etwas Hardwarehungrig.

Schade, dass "Journalismusformate" wie meinmmo unnötig und undgerechtfertigt gegen die Entwickler hetzen.

DO NOT BUY if your accounts are not linked.
If you are like me and have logged in via steam any time before prior to linking the accounts,
it is impossible to link steam/gaijin account and therefore all your purchases will end up on
your steam account and not on your gaijin account.

Southern Empire is conquering everything.
Game basicly wins itself.
But i got a city for my duty in the empire - which is nice.

You can build towers and tame dragons and do magic.

Desaströser technischer Zustand.

Läuft nur im Fenster, wenn überhaupt.
Oft bleibt das Spiel im Ladebildschirm hängen.

Bei mittelhohen Grafikeinstellungen hängt sich das Spiel beim betreten bestimmter Bereich auf.

(wenn man nicht allzu lesefaul ist und sich nicht zu schade ist die eigene Fantasie manchmal etwas zu bemühen.)

Die Geschichte führt den Spieler gut an einem roten Faden entlang, lässt aber auch die
typischen Sandbox-Freiheiten.
Die Geschichte finde ich für meinen Teil sehr immersiv, habe mich jedesmal beim spielen in diese Zeit zurrück versetzt,
konnte mitfühlen und mitfiebern bei kleineren und etwas größeren Wendungen.

PS: Den Sandboxmodus konnte ich im Anschluss an die Geschichte einfach nicht mehr spielen

Still don't buy it.

- balancing is bad. Spaming stunlock moves is really rewarding, especially in tight areas.
- also new heroes tend to get more tools for combat (unblockable guard breaks and so on.)
which makes them much more better then old ones which aren't reworked and may never wont.
- also new heroes tend to be a lot stronger in the beginning - may to get some cash
- season pass didn't include all heroes. Newest one still has to be bought, which can be done with ingame currency, but also real money.
- there is absolutly no matchmaking, so you will be matched with beginners which won't be challenging to play against, or vise versa you will matched against much more expierienced player than yourself, therefore you wont stand a chance.

Sometimes there pretty intense and close matches, where both teams have equal skill levels. But that's about 10% the time.
Most time you will absolutly dominate the enemy team, or get crushed by it without a chance.

I bought this game when it was on sale, because i didn't want to spend the 60€ that it cost back at that time.
When i first played it i choosed the "Galactic War" mode, some kind of single player campaign. After a few easy wins the bots got harder and finally one of them took me down. Since then i haven't played until yet.

Just start playing with a friend and it's way more fun than playing against bots only and better for learning the game since the learning curve feels very steep.
The performance is quite good and personal i've no problems with the huge amount of units on the map, though i haven't got the best computer.
And didn't noticed any bugs yet except that sometimes some buildings don't want to be placed on certain spots, but i haven't played that much as other players.
Fairly i've to say that i didn't saw many public custom matches so if you want to play multiplayer you should bring some friends with you.
At all i think the game is the 20€ that i paid worth
