A brief rundown of how a "wipe" plays out on a server:

Overall, the game is HARD.

Even though it is in the survival genre, it doesn't play like most survival games. The concept of survival dies down after a day or two of playing on a server, and then begins the grind.

The grind is where players must put in hours of effort in order to progress through the blueprint system as well as fortification of their base and the gathering of loot. Here the game follows some primitive rules, where if a player is more daring and bold, he will come out on top. Those with more skill will be victorious. A group of players will always be able to out - farm a solo player. It's safe to say that you should bring friends with you to play this game, as it makes the experience more fun and slightly more easy.

The final stage of the wipe on a server will be the "endgame" phase. This is where survival is completely disregarded, players have advanced gear and raiding materials, and in order to survive this phase you need to be quite experienced. People will show no mercy here, they will gun you down in order to take whatever you have. Raids are also common here, so be prepared that your base may be destroyed while you are offline, however you can also do the same to others. In general, it is a case of who puts more hours into the game; you, or your enemy.

Conclusion:

Bring friends, be ready to commit to the game if you want to succeed, be prepared to loose anything and everything, have a decent computer to run the game, and trust nobody.

I got this game a few months ago, and then realised the steep learning curve which it offered;

There is so much to learn in this game, so many roles which are vital to a team's success and overall victory

Squad is NOT a triple A shooter like CoD or Battlefield; it has shooting mechanics, but engagements with the enemy are not always common. What I mean by this, is it is all down to certain circumstances which decide what kind of experience you get. For example, if you're squad leader orders you to use a mortar, you might not see as much action as you would if you were in an infantry based squad, tasked with destroying enemy FOB's and taking control of territory.

What's important to understand is the TEAMWORK aspect of this game; the more you engage with your squad and communicate certain events to each other, the easier it will be to complete an objective. Communication is key in this game, and a microphone is essential.

As well as this, I will say it is very satisfying when you are a squad leader and you win you're first game with a full squad.

Overall, I would recommend this game to people who are searching for a highly tactical, teamwork and role based game where everyone fills in a vital role in the squad

in my opinion, such a great game.
at first, i was worried that, id play the maps, test out the weapons, fly the planes and be bored, but i was wrong. i learnt that the game can be made more fun with MODS, which are VERY easy to get when you buy the game (literally a big button on menu screen saying "mods"). the stuff you see on the workshop is great, but some mods do require a good pc if they are big.

i have spent countless hours playing this game, and even though it is simply a fps offline bot game, its more fun that you think. something about being a team leader and being in the heat of battle drew me to this game.

it is also an early access game, meaning it will change, and hopefully we will see the CONQUEST mode added in soon, and maybe even multiplayer!

ok lets start, ill have to say, its a qick game, about 3-4 hours on steam and i reachend an end.

but if your looking to find all the endings and that stuff (which i will do) it might take 5-6 hours

i think its a great game, starts of normal and progreses to show real life problems and highlights a part in everyone who plays it. i believe if you play this game you instantly get drawn to one character, this may be because they are like you, or you feel bad for them, but in the end, there is a twist.

dont worry no spoilers here, but realy, its a great free game and you should play it, unless you suffer from depression, are easily scared at night, and plan not to feel sad

yeah so there is this girl named monika and she basically is MADLY in love with you, but all the other characters want you as well, so she controls them to be weiard as ♥♥♥ so you hate them. but usually you still like them and want to help them so one by one they kill themselves and only monika is left.
