This game is fun and charming! It's obviously inspired by Slay the Spire, but adequately differentiated with different and well-executed mechanics suited for the space combat setting. The story is decent, the characters are funny, and the music is awesome. My only complaint is that I wish there was workshop integration and that there were a little more content. At a certain point it felt like i kept seeing the same artifacts and such. Regardless, what is available is solid and well-balanced as far as I can tell.

Youtube knows that I like movement shooters and randomly recommended me this video which let me discover the game. Seems pretty fun, I love gaining lots of speed, walljumping, etc.

Has some cheater problems, but it's still fun, especially with friends. It's janky, yet charming. Truly a battle of beans

A little short for the price, but still a great deal of fun. Definitely more fun with friends, at least for certain levels, but still fun solo too. I just REALLY wish there was workshop support or something, because it is so unfortunate how short the game is for how satisfying the gameplay is.

Awesome game, highly recommend. It's tagged as horror, but even though I'm a total wuss with horror I enjoyed this game very much. At the bare minimum, there are absolutely no jumpscares (which is probably the main thing that deters me from horror games). A lot of the other reviews have it right, don't look up the game elsewhere, it's just really good and worthwhile to play.

Very calm and relaxing game, flying though the world feels nice and the presence of other animals makes it not feel so lonely.

I used to play it a bunch, so it brings back old memories, which is weird since it says I only have 11.6 hours. I guess if it stuck with me in memory that's gotta mean it's pretty good.

I had a lot of difficulty getting the game to be playable on my Windows Mixed Reality headset. The game seems to have no recentering feature, and it actively resists being affected by steam recalibrations/offset adjustments. This was a large issue, since my view was very far above anything I could interact with, making the game unplayable without proper adjustments. I was able to make it playable by adjusting my height in windows mixed reality itself such that my head was in the floor, and even then I was still slightly high. After finally jumping through those hoops to actually play the game, I couldn't find a tutorial in game and it just didn't seem enjoyable to me, especially after all the troubleshooting.

To me this game feels like a lot of the experience relies a little TOO much on RNG, and there's a LOT of random BS that can kill you instantly which I don't like.

Despite that, this game is pretty fun and really cool! The combinations of spells, getting/creating a wand that is completely overpowered, etc, it's all pretty fun. A lot of the ways you die give you a learning experience so you can avoid it later (ie "random BS"). For example, did you jump into a pool of water to open a chest, only to find a stone that spews electricity in the chest, which immediately took your HP from 200 to 0 via electrocution? Just don't open chests in water!

I think the main thing is that this game takes patience. If you rush through stages, you won't find as much loot (like random potions/wands), and you will not have much gold and can't get better wands/spells, resulting in being pretty underpowered without some serious luck. At times, this can make things a little boring and/or frustrating, but it generally evens out to be a cool and unique experience.

I made a clever move that put the king in check both in the present and past, and the computer sat there calculating for at least 10 minutes. It literally could not determine whether I had him in checkmate or not.

Another time I thought I was winning, and nearly set up a checkmate in the present. Suddenly, the AI moves a queen way back into the past at least 4 spaces quadangally (diagonally across the board and diagonally across time and parallel timeline dimensions, aka across all 4 dimensions), and all of a sudden I am in checkmate.

Fun game, downright comically convoluted at times, you'll get the AI in checkmate or checkmated yourself without understanding why. With enough time, you may find yourself starting to understand "why" more and more, which is a good feeling.

It's kinda fun, but I don't think it's *quite* worth the price. Especially since there's no way to rebind controls, and the default controls on the controller are kinda wack (in order to block downwards, you need to press block and right/left depending on which way you are facing, instead of pressing block and down, which would make more sense)
