i played it a bit. its okay i guess

Another year of playing this game, and from the updates my view has definitely changed!

This game still amazes me with it's scenery and exploration aspects, the mission log really helps flesh this part out and makes it feel like there's always something to do.
The progression in this game is optional (unless you want lore) which I find to be always nice.
I recently 100% the entire game, and I can say I had fun with it. Everything felt pretty fun to do and there were only a few moments where I was frustrated (completely my fault).
In the more recent updates, they fixed my one major complaint I had with this game, the barren lore. This is the first game in a very long time that has made me want to figure out the story of the world and everything around it, and there has been a lot added to help support that.

Onto my recent criticisms of this game, I don't really know what happened but co-op has become a mess to try and set up and play. My friend was forced to set up a dedicated server because it would just not work.
The camera control in this game is a bit wack in smaller areas, but I know they have tried to fix it and I can't think of a clear solution to the problem that works for the whole game.

I recommend this game to anyone thinking of buying it. It has really become a game that supports a lot of ways of playing the game. Whether you're casually playing it to have fun and not worry about anything, or challenging yourself for lore, this game is really something special.
