This should be called Grab Guys. I get grabbed by players more than I fall!!

Still, this game is exactly what it looks like in the trailers. Simple BR fun. They do need to change and fix some issues, but certainly worth 20$. Nothing quite like it.

One of the best management sims out there!

The selling point and what makes Little Big Workshop special is getting players involved in the process. You not only build your factory, hire workers, make them as efficient and comfortable as possible, and try to make a profit selling crafted items, but you get to use blueprints which allow players to craft the items step by step, choosing the right procedure, machine, materials, and you can even influence the way the items look.

However, there are two warning signs attached to the game. The first is that LBW is an open-ended game. There is no campaign and no final objective. You do have a few milestones which grant new machines, products, contacts for special contracts and so on, but that's about it. The final goal is whatever you set your mind to. The second warning is that it has quite a lot of downtime. The devs included quite a few quirky mini-games which are available from time to time, like shooting rats with a cannon, discovering spies among your workers, dealing with brain parasites and so on. These not only allow you to do something while you wait for the items to be crafted by your workers, but they give a decent amount of money as well. Still, the downtime is real, and I found myself browsing the web, chatting and so on while waiting for my workers to finish their products.

With that in mind, LBW is awesome. The amount of detail in each animation, seeing my workers slip and dropping whatever they're carrying, a garbage bin that's actually a garbage eating monster, and so on is what makes it shine.

There are tens of different machines with different roles, even more items to craft, which have only one purpose, selling for a profit, so even if it looks cute, it's quite complex, especially mid to late game, when you get to have tens of employees running around.

Big thumbs up!

Blasphemous is one of the best platformers out there, despite the fact that it doesn't really bring anything new to the genre.

With precise controls, an interesting world, unsettling visuals and religious themes, a couple of weird (unintended or uninspired) platforming mechanics, plenty of customization regarding skills and abilities, great voice-overs, and a very nice soundtrack, it's rather hard not to recommend it.

And yes, we need to come up with a term for metroidvania + souls inspired games.

Well then. I can actually recommend this one.

First off, the weekly missions have to be finished within a week this time, and not over the course of the entire season / Pass. On the plus side, we get 5 weekly mission resets, which we can use to actually get rid of annoying missions. Of course, there's the risk of running into even more annoying ones, but still.

Secondly, they also fixed the coupons issue. I did not get enough blue coupons during the Vikendi Pass to actually unlock everything. This time, the blue coupons only grant keys for crates at 3 per, while the yellow and white ones can be used to buy cosmetics, plus exchange them for blue coupons.

The third thing I would say is that this time around there are only 80 levels, and not 100. That, coupled with the fact that the weekly missions have to be done within a week, means that you have to make time to "grind" them rather fast, during those 7 days.

All in all, it's certanly a step forward from the previous Passes. And hey, we get keys for crates without spending more money on it. Besides the price for the pass that is... :)

The rewards are varied, quite nice and, this time around, they're permanent. That's the good part. The only good part.

You are basically paying to farm annoying missions that force to not properly play the game or have any fun doing them. Driving 500km in a buggy, shooting 300 bullets with the Uzi in a single match 3 times, throw 10 grenades in a single match 3 times and so on.

If you like farming of the worst possible caliber, go ahead and press the Purchase button...

First thing's first, yes, it has microtransactions. Yes, it's a lame and destructive policy/mechanic. No, you are not forced to spend real money for virtual orcs.

When you get over this, Shadow of War simply has more of everything. More ways to screw around and build your army of less than loyal companions, multiplayer modes in the form of attacking other players' fortresses, and soon even challenge their orcs in the arena, where you get to pick your own challenger.

Overall, if you liked the first one, this is more of it. Unfortunately, the ending is disappointing, and it gets repetitive towards the end, but it has no match anywhere else. There's no other game quite like it. On the plus side, it's flawless on PC.

A Call of Duty that actually has a very good campaign. If that isn't worth a recommendation, I don't know what is.

The multiplayer isn't anything special, with the exception of War Mode, which is a tiny version of BF1 gameplay, and the HQ, where you get to see what other people, mostly luckier than you, get in their loot crates.

If you're only interested in the single-player campaign, get it on a sale.

Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs is such a weird game. If you go in expecting a light RPG with some funny moments you're certainly in for a treat.

Combining everything from diplomacy and castle building, to exploring different areas, developing personal relationships for perks and bonuses, and even fishing, I was quite amazed by how well they actually fit together and give life to this little gem. Granted, most game mechanics are very simple at their core, but as a whole it really does shine.

The story, characters and their interactions are hillarious, the actors doing an amazing job, the graphics are colorful, but what really makes it impressive is the combat. Including line of sight, buffs, debuffs, friendly fire, quite a lot of characters with a nice assortment of skills and perks, troops placement, and different types of main objectives for battles, the combat in Regalia proves to be quite difficult and well thought out.

The main issues with Regalia is that it is a race against time, and its slow pace, meaning it's not a game that everyone will enjoy, but those that are just fine with spending a lot more time reading and listening to the conversations than fighting will have a blast with it. Not to mention it includes Text Adventures. That's right, TEXT ADVENTURES! Like in the last millenium, but so satisfying.

Even at this price point, Regalia is very easy to recommend to those searching for a turn-based RPG that's a bit different. Offering around or more than 30 hours of gameplay, depending if you're trying to 100% it, certainly tips the scales in its favor. Plus, it has a teen vampire that "vants to suck your blood". That, or become a hair stylist...
