Game is extremely convoluted and hard to approach. SUPERVIVE while fun is extremely jarring as a new player, there are no tutorials besides some videos and very little in the way of understanding the game flow. There are too many mini-menu things that are un-intuitive and there is no clear explanation as to what items matter, why they matter how to utilize them effectively (more importantly WHO is recommending I should level up my sword or dagger or boots??. If the game has a healthy playerbase and either third party support like League of Legends or an in-built community builds page like Deadlock it would greatly improve the itemization experience. I would rate the skill floor of this game as higher than average.

Normally in a MOBA you pick and choose what item to use but in SUPERVIVE you obtain currency to upgrade your weapon or boots(?). There are 2 forms of currency being shards and gold and shards are your source of exp(?) but the shops seem to far and away from the map and contention points that it is confusing as to why they are there in the first place. Furthermore the price for items in the shop is so extravagant there is little you would buy in a single game besides an item or two unless you were extremely efficient in farming.

The matchmaker is very off. The first game I play against people who have never played in a top down MOBA in their lives so I win the game with 16 kills and the next games I get run down by players who have hundreds of more hours than I do clearly because I get one shot or run down very quickly.

The game also features a very archaic "play to unlock heroes or pay real money" system as a way to generate more revenue for when new champions are added I would assume. These systems are never made with the player experience in mind and notably Overwatch 2 learned its lesson when an exclusive hero is hidden behind a battlepass or progress and that hero overperforms leaps and bounds ahead of the default roster pool. It creates a P2W scenario where the players who pay for the new premium hero get a gigantic advantage over purely free to play players. It all depends on the speed and acquisition of heroes but for almost all aspects its never been a positive experience to grind out heroes through just a battlepass. A shard system or a capsule system like League of Legends would bridge the gap slightly better.

As for the community it is a MOBA so it is extremely toxic and expect the fullest of vitriol and slurs when solo queuing. The devs by default enable open mic and from what I can see there is no way to mute in game chat messages of people telling you to "Keep Yourself Safe" or the emote spam when your teammate decides to suicide to a PVE camp and has decided its now time for you to put up with their spam. The muting feature needs a lot of work, you can only mute voice at this point in time.

Has a community that will fight off Sony at a moments notice.

Easily one of the best life sims I've ever played.

Finished the game and its fun and all but the PC support is horrific. Constant freezes and frame rate drops. Just can't recommend it until it's fixed.
i7 9700k RTX 2080 16GB ram and performance is a nightmare.
