A pile of console spaghetti code back-porting mistake this update/dlc is. I never write reviews but I have to say something as I love this game and love its community. I want gearbox to make this game great but my optimism is running short. TLDR: the dlc for its price is not the worst deal... but still not worth it in my eyes. It seems lacking in quality control and fundamental understanding within the developers at gearbox.

Ignoring the obvious countless bugs and game breaking glitches the update gives us alongside this dlc it has proven to us gearbox do not play their own game!

The new Items are just bad, useless, or way too overpowered, new characters are fun but underwhelming in power, lacking alternate abilities, on top of having abilities that just plain suck. The new stages mess with the flow of the game the original devs painstakingly fine tuned to perfection. making new beginning stages too big and impossible to loot.

I could type on about the update and how merging console code and PC code is the worst decision they’ve made allowing bugs like making the final boss INVINCIBLE and xbox players UNABLE TO PLAY for 3 DAYS.... but that's for the ROR2 forums and discord not the dlc review page, this is a review for the DLC only keep that in mind.
6/10 I do not recommend at full price but the secret character is super fun and the new stages/ost are the best part, the art team truly needs a raise, if this is something you wish to buy WAIT! till they patch out the countless bugs they've added alongside this DLC.

Gearbox lock in cause you got a-lot of work ahead of you. If you want this game to be the golden child moneymaker you bought this IP for, then stop making half-baked dlc and gacha garbage spinoffs, make it a good experience, believe it or not you might actually make some money, now go tell that to your higher ups they need to hear it… greedy bastards.
