TL;DR: if it looks like something you would like, without a doubt put it on your wishlist, if its on sale buy it with no tought because this game is an 10/10 deck builder action game
thats chess, poker and goldeneye all in one amazing gameplay loop.
I never liked RPG and deck builder games until now. It never gets old even in replays because of all the randomization, deck, route, move and card choices.
When you die you get mad, not at the game but at yourself because you know it was your own doing.
When you win you feel like a 10000IQ megamind genious because once again you know it was thanks to you.
Its always rewarding and always makes you want to play more.

I wish there was modding and a new game+ option though...

The game has a distinct art style thats perfect for this game. i really cant imagine this game having realistic visuals.

This was actually the fşrst deckbuilding game i have ever played, i was never fond of the concept but this game is so good that i decided to stop
mid way and make this.The game has infinite replay value because of all the cards and the infinite ways to go trough a level depending on your deck.
You feel frustrated when you die but you never blame the game or hate the game because you know it was your own doing which is a very rare and amazing thing.
When you finish a level sucessfully you feel unstopable and a genious because again you know it was your own doing.

If PayDay2 OST is a wedding cake, this is a piece of bread.
On paper it makes sense to have a 007 like OST to an spy based action game but when you start actually having to stop and think your moves up to 5m at later stages
it feels a bit odd to have a song in the background that feels like the cards are about to self detonate in 10 seconds.
sound effects are not bad but a bit underwhelming, when i walljump from the wall and punch a guy right on the head it doesnt sound like im internally destroying
the mans skull, it sounds like im giving him a bro-fist. Im just being nitpicky and you will definetly not notice these (except maybe the OST).

to play the game you need no gaming knowledge but its definetly helps to be good at stuff like chess for this game.

The difficulty of this game is PERFECT. It slowly goes from a stroll in the park to a soviet torture method that you caused yourself
OR a scene from a Bruce Lee movie where every move you make was because of the cards you chose and the moves you made.
But as hard as it is to believe NO LEVEL IS IMPOSSIBLE as hard it is to believe, as hard at is to complete some of them with some decks, its all possible.

As far as i have seen and read theres nothing to grind, if thats the case im actually glad you cant grind out 1000 cards.
Every choice you make and every card you take either fills you with regret or makes you feel like a megamind genius.

There is a story if you count ''Boss gives agent job, agent cracks joke, agent completes job, agent cracks joke''.
Personally i have no issue with a lack of story in a game so based on its amazing game mechanics and the gameplay totally makes up for the lack of story.

The game time mostly depends on the players choices and skills. im halfway trough the game wiith 6h right now but i havent seen a review that has a playtime below two digits.
(p.s the howlongtobeat.com is broken i think because it shows the game takes 2h for some reason?)

In my honest opinion it could have been a cheaper but Its an amazing game nevertheless, i recommend that you bought it on sale though.
