absolute banger of a game.

A ridiculously complex game under the hood. On the surface it's fairly simple and can be at times repetitive, but the ability to make your own custom underwater aquarium reef is insanely fun and addictive for me at least. May not be a game for everybody.

Great game. 9/10. A couple small balancing issues. A bit grindy, so if you're impatient or need immediate sense of 'reward' or 'purpose' you might not enjoy it as much as others have. Vastly more positives.

I cannot overstate the level of detail in this game. Very good. Says early access, feels like a triple A game. Very fun game if you liked Satisfactory, or Factorio, or games of similar vein.

it hurts so good.

The game has some minor bug flaws (I've heard reports of some people having soft-lock issues requiring reload etc, have not personally experienced this myself at all) that could break your immersion at inopportune times, but these moments are few and far between for me. The world is deep, tall, and wide, with plenty of random encounters, side-storys, and random events as far as the eye can see. Many of these side-missions and quests will influence the final outcome of the games ending. And it can offer a variety of narrative branches. Rewarding combat and progression, you could play the game in a extensive variety of ways over and over again.

A lot of people have their complaints, keep in mind some of these are warranted, and some of them are just hopping on the hate-♥♥♥♥ circlejerk bandwagon. It isn't breaking any new gaming boundaries or new ground, but it doesn't have to be in order to be a rewarding experience.

It's nowhere near as bad as some people say, but also nowhere near as good as some people say. And that's just fine for me. And it may be for you. You decide.

Difficult, and with it's flaws, but probably one of the more indepth terraforming games out there. Very good for it's price, excited to see if there's future expansion on this.

7.5/10 would recommend for anyone who likes a challenging terraforming sim game.

It is buggy, amusingly so in some instances, frustrating in others, but it's early access and I wholly expect them to develop this to the level of polish Divinity Original sin 2 is at by the time a full release arrives.
Especially considering the polish is surprisingly high quality in some areas for what we have access to so far.

EDIT: Unsurprisingly. The game is in impeccable shape on full release. I can say nothing more but that it's fantastic.

I could say a lot of things about this game.

Most of them likely already repeated by others, it's a very good game. Buy it. It's good.
