Arise. You're not truly alone.

It was a touching and emotional journey. It's a simple story but told powerfully through stunning visuals and sound, with no voice-over. And I still understand through both elements. Each level represents the story. I loved experiencing both the happy and sad moments. It took me about 5 hours, as I collected all the memories in one go. The time manipulation mechanic is an excellent puzzle feature, and the game can be enjoyed by two players—one controls the character, other controls the time.

When you gaze at the stars, the stars also gaze at you.
From the creators of Behind The Frame, a game centered around painting.. comes The Star Named EOS, a game focused on photography. While the game only takes around 2-4 hours (depending on you solve the puzzles), the story is both touching and bittersweet, The art style looks quite the same with Behind The Frame, and now features voiceovers in English, Japanese (日本語), and Chinese (中文), adding depth to the experience. I play with 日本語 VO and it was a legit deadass.

It took me 3 hours because I got stuck on a puzzle that I didn't fully paid attention to and this doesn't include unlocking all the achievements. However, I really loved the puzzles. Some were easy and some were challenging but not frustating. And you will use the camera to solve certain puzzles. I also appreciated the small details in this game, such as how the background picture changes to match the chapter theme when you return to the main menu. Also, they put some easter eggs from their previous game.

if you're looking for a puzzle game that use camera as core gameplay, I'd recommend to play TOEM.

1.1 Latar Belakang

I enjoyed it as much as Far Cry 3. My story progress was mixed—sometimes playing in co-op but mostly Rambo-style. Playing in co-op was absolutely nuts and fun. We go blast, we found glitch or bug, we do dumb ways (sometimes it goes dumb ways to die).

It gave me a fresh experience with its world and characters. The game is set in the fictional Hope County, Montana. I loved the beauty of the landscape, which is rich with forests, rivers, lakes, mountains, and small towns. Sadly, there are no sea predators or fishes, so the lake looks bland. The world divided into 3 regions, each controlled by one of Joseph Seed's siblings with different specialties. Speaking of which, I quite liked the characters of Joseph and his siblings—charismatic, disciplined, manipulative, and sadistic. Joseph Seed quite reminds me of Vaas from Far Cry 3.

Gameplay has slightly differences, but still the same Far Cry formula. Do story missions, side missions, liberate areas, and random encounters to increase resistance points. As you progress, you'll face Joseph's siblings. You can go blaze or you can go silent for bonus money. Hunting and now you can fishing (?), and you can recruit special companions by completing their missions first.

A small tip to get perks easily is by doing Prepper Stash missions—you'll get at least three perks per completion, and some of them have easter eggs.

Different voices. Different nationalities. Different adventures.
Can't say too much 'cause I only play the War Stories. It's a short one, maybe only takes up to 3 hours but don't worry, I don't pay at full price. I get to see a Norwegian female protagonist going out Rambo-style, and 'The Last Tiger' story really hits hard. No doubt about it. I get to see the German's perspective of how they were during the war, that they're still human beings.

Gone, but not forgotten.
The Forest Quartet tells a story of a jazz band struggling with loss. The band is called The Forest Quartet (as the title suggests). You play as Nina, a band member who has passed away. As a spirit, Nina helps her band members cope with their mental struggles and prepare for a farewell concert.

The game is really short, only takes 1 hour. You travel through three chapters, each featuring different mechanics and conversations with the band members. The game indeed includes puzzle elements, they aren't too difficult, but I feel the game more focuses on the emotional story of finding motivation after a significant loss.

I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be a well-spent hour for a short emotional story, considering its price of around $0.60 at this year's Independent Games Festival. For the best experience, it is recommended to play with headphones.

I loved it. A thumbs up from me. First time playing an Unreal Engine 5 horror game with walking simulator gameplay was quite an experience. Got jumpscared several times and the worst thing I did was say "Show yourself" or "Do something" which made the microphone icon appear :)

Story's quite good, I loved the last cutscene and the truth part. The gameplay is simple. You walk, do something that triggers the events, repeat. Bland, but hey, as someone who’s scared of horror games, I still wanted to play it. The game features voice detection, so IT can hear you. Also, you can communicate with the entity, and as I mentioned, saying "Show yourself" or "Do something" was a big mistake for me.

+ Easy to get all achievements in 2 hours.

Introduced and released at this year’s Summer Game Fest, which was a month ago. The game follows Lilly, a sea explorer, on her quest to find treasure with a bit of spicy fa mystery. Unfortunately, the story is kinda short, taking about an hour to complete.

Although short, I enjoyed it but keep in mind that this is a walking simulator, so there's no sprint/run. However, the pace kept me stayed because I love the comic art style with a halftone effect and vibrant colors. The game also includes some puzzles, but they aren't too difficult.

It's a good price this year's Summer Sale, consider as introductory offer I'd say. And my friend mentioned that Lilly is quite similar to Lara Croft.

I've read negative reviews about this game, and unfortunately, I have to agree with them. First, the game is super slow and tedious during combat. Second, dodging, blocking, or parrying feels useless, Third, you can only attack shield mobs when they attack. It feels clunky and unfair. Sorry, I can't beat in a fair play.

Everything seemed okay during my first 2 hours. But when I started fighting shield mobs, I realized the negative reviews were right. And these mobs are everywhere. If I leave them alone, how am I supposed to get my points? How am I supposed to upgrade my builds? Should I just face each boss without leveling up? I also don’t understand how the weight system works. There doesn’t seem to be any noticeable difference.

Moreover, the game lacks a proper UI for quest or side-quest information. Several NPCs asked for favors, but there's no way to track these tasks. The only quest they provided is the main quest, displayed in the top-left corner (if you enable quest text) and the middle of the pause screen.
