The Freelance Police received the treatment they deserved, you can tell these remasters were done with love and respect for these characters and their wacky world. Thank you Skunkape Games for not allowing Sam & Max to be forgotten.

A lot of the reviews here seem to claim that the tactical portion of the game was supposed to be less present and that the game isn't advertised correctly. I outright disagree, if you take a moment to actually look at the various marketing material for the game you'll quickly find out that the map portion of the game is a fundamental part of the experience that's being offered here. I find the mix of resource management, visual novel and genuine racing elements to all flow really well together.
It might not certainly be for everyone but it's a core part of the game which i think works. Furthermore the driving itself is satisfying with a mix of arcade and simulation physics(leaning a little more towards arcade)

My only gripe with the game so far is some of the writing. The premise, psychological elements and most of the little stories you stumble upon are intriguing (out of the ones I've seen so far, plenty more left to see) but some of the dialogue really takes me out of the whole thing sometimes, I'd say it comes off as a bit immature given the whole tone and setting (and supposed 70s/80s era)

I've been following the development of this game since i first heard about it a few years ago and i can finally say that as a big fan of Vanishing Point, Interstate 76 and the Driver games, this game has my approval.
