Dyschronometria is a condition that makes it difficult to accurately estimate the passage of time.
People with dyschronometria may:
-Confuse minutes with hours, or days with weeks
-Feel like a short time is much longer
-Think a lot of time has passed when it's only been a little time
-Be confused about the current date and time
-Find it hard to plan things because time feels unclear
If you experience Dyschronometria you should stop playing Balatro immediately.

The combat is fun but basic. It's effectively sword and board with some zelda style items limited by mana or being consumables. The big divergence from old zelda games is that you can parry, similar to BOTW/TOTK. The input is a little undesirable. It's block button twice. I wish it was another button plus the block key. There are progression mechanics and overall the combat isn't overly hard. You can always farm money and buy more consumables. Some of the enemies drove me nuts, but largely I just threw bombs at them.

This is one of the most beautiful games I've played, it's bright and colorful, I love the art style. Everything feels like it fits together and maintains strong themes throughout and the game does fantastic with environmental story telling. If you see something, it's probably there for a reason.

Where this game shines is the world building and puzzles. I would most recommend this to people that enjoy cracking and solving ciphers or other puzzles. There is so much I want to say about this game, but would rather not as to avoid accidentally spoiling anything.

Started up with the archer. Auto aim is trash. Attack combos constantly missed. Inputs also dropped a lot, like while holding the aim button with the bow, I'd randomly do a light or fierce attack. Enemy AI spent a lot of time standing around, when enemies did decide attack, it was often from off-screen. I died to the boss of the first area, I got a load screen, when I loaded, I was in front of the boss, he wasn't loaded in, but was attacking, the hud wasn't loaded. It was a mess. I encountered more than a handful of bugs. Even if the game wasn't buggy, it feels pretty tedious and uninteresting.

Long time MHW fan. Online issues are a bit of a drag, but haven't stopped me from pumping more hours into this game than I've worked in the last two weeks. A couple of tips to help your enjoyment.

Don't bother with matchmade lobbies until they're fixed. They're mostly pointless anyway. Create a lobby and search for SOS flares when you want to play with randoms.

If you're playing with friends, create a lobby, don't bother making it private unless you want to restrict a friend from joining. If you search for a lobby and there's none to be seen, someone will need to make a new lobby to join. If someone is having difficulty joining a quest, just drop the quest and re-take it. This can result in some resources being lost, like a use of an investigation or a voucher, but by the time that's a factor, you'll need to take that into account.

Vouchers double the money you get from a quest, do them in single player early on, later on they aren't as important as you can use the bandit mantle to generate more money faster with the right weapons.

Lastly, if you're going to play with KB+M, expect some weirdness, you're likely going to need to rebind controls, especially if you play shooters or anything else. I highly recomment steam controller or another controller if you have it.

If you like Monster Hunter and don't have it on another platform, this game is a mustbuy. If you haven't played Monster Hunter but are interested in the series, this game is a fanstastic jump on point.

If you plan to play this game multiplayer, keep in mind that certain aspects of the story quest lock other players out. Like players not able to join prior to seeing a cutscene, players not able to join until they have completed said quest. It's a lot of frustration if you go into it blind. Just keep in mind you're going to have to play alone(or with randoms or a friend that's ahead). Once you hit high rank, the quests require you see the cutscene, but you can then abandon and join your friends and progress together, it's a bit of a work around, but it's acceptable for an otherwise solid game.

I have difficulty not recommending a game that I've put 86 hours into and expect to be in my top 5 most played games in a year.

When I first played this game it was amazing. You'd hop in, have two or three servers near capacity on players, get in with some friends and enjoy the silly play style. Builders would build massive forts, only to have some knight suicide bomb into it and crumble the thing to the ground. While that still exists, sadly the player base does not and I don't really see that changing any time soon. There seems to be a decent following in the EU, but for NA players, you'll find a hard time finding a server with more than 6 people with a ping under 100.

I'd love to recommend this game, it's fantastic and unique and one of my favorite multiplayer experiences I had, but sadly the game is dead. The development stagnated and players lost interest and moved on. If you want to try it, it's availible free on their site and I certainly recommend supporting the developers by buying it, but I don't really recommend it unless you have a large group of friends to get a server going.

I like not having to install 2+ mods to enjoy Dark Souls. No longer walking friends through DSFix and DSCFix. Though stuff like agro mod and permagravelord are fun, it's not like they won't eventually exist for DSR.
