hunie pop is a game published by huniepot after a successful kick starter campaign. it is a mix between dating simulator and bejeweled. the dating part of this game is very easy and forgiving the worst thing that will happen if you answer a question wrong is that you don't get any points. there are no major conversations with the girls, every time you talk to a girl you get points and you get bonus points for answering a question correctly or not asking her the same question twice. at night time you can give them alcohol to make more points as you talk to the girls. but there are also unique gifts that you can buy them that gives you double points. there is a food meter that drains by 2 every time you talk to them and if there aren't 2 or more points in the food bar you can not ask them on a date or talk to them or you could go to a different girl them come back.

you can look up what the girl likes in the game so there is no challenge finding out who likes what, that goes for gifts unique gifts drinks and foods. now on to the bejeweled part, every time you take a girl on a date you will have to play a game called Bejeweled. you get 20 turns and have to get a certain amount of points to pass the date, you get points by matching 3 or more in a row. matching broken hearts will set you back points, matching hearts adds to your point multiplier, matching bells will give you another turn, and match teardrops will give you sentiment points. you can use sentiment points to use a special item that you can use once a match. some items might increase or decrease the drop rate of a certain gem. items are called date gifts and to unlock one you must give any girl a gift she loves. then there are normal gems these represent different traits and depending on the girl your on a date with they give more or less points so matching mindlessly will not get you far in the game you have to be strategical about the plays you make as you only have 20 moves but there are items that can change this number.

once you win 4 dates with a single girl the next time you go on a date with her at night time once you pass you will be given a different variation of the dating game. there is no way to lose it and there are no broken hearts but you score drops progressively if you do not make a connection. after any date, you will get money and points to spend on upgrades the upgrades mostly increase the points you get from connecting a certain type of gem but can also give other perks like less of a decrease when you connect broken hearts. Now, this isn't your normal eroge some time you will get nude photos sent to you and after a successful full effection night date, you will get a pretty hot image.

the steam version does cover it up with underwear in most of the images. but in the description, there is a mod that you can install that will remove this censorship so you can see everything. open up the link in the comments that i posted and download it to your desktop or anywhere you can easily get to it. then you want to navigate to your hunie pop steam file you can find it by opening the following folders Local Disk (C:)--> Program files (x86)-->Steam-->Steamapps-->Common-->Huniepop. in this file you should be able to see two things Huniepop the game and Huniepop_Data and maybe some over stuff if you got the Digital art collection or the soundtracks. just move the file you downloaded into here and launch huniepop.
