I love the first cut scene, very cool.

I have a lot of hours in Starfield, 111 at the time of this review. And I want to say that I enjoyed the game but I didn't. There are some quests that are enjoyable I cant make myself play the game another minute. Is that a glowing endorsement? You can get some fun out of the game but in the end it is disappointing.

I am 3 hours into the game and here are some thoughts on the game.

I have not been able to get my audio to work correctly. I do have a 5.1 surround system and a Yamaha receiver so a bit of a special case but I haven't heard a single line of dialogue yet.

The textures are washed out for some reason. Maybe it is my system 13900K and a RTX 3080 but it looks bad.

You can not adjust audio settings while the game is running. So the above issue is challenging since I have to repeatedly turn my game off and on.

But I have to admit the arcadey feel of the game is not bad and I am enjoying that style of combat.

It starts with my attacks being cancelled. And then it moves to where I can not switch weapons. Server lag? Probably so. I'm just talking core game loop here, not the predatory sales tactics that Fatshark has decided to employ. I am not happy with Fatshark and I am going to be taking a long break from this game.

Im sitting in the lobby as I am writing this. The game is the best fighter I have ever played.

Still best in its genre

It has some bugs. There is def a glitch in the matrix. But this game is freaking amazing none the less.
