ESEA is a massive upgrade over regular matchmaking in CS:GO! ESEA boasts a better ranking system, better server, more dedicated players, and the ability to join leagues, teams, and win prizes. But, with all this being said, you should not join ESEA if you are not Gold Nova Master-Master Gaurdian. ESEA is a very competitive platform and your teammates will expect a lot more out of you than a regular matchmaking team.
