SCP Secret Lab is a clone of SCP Containment Breach Multiplayer. The communities are usually alright, and the game itself is fun.

But I cannot recommend this game. This game has the worst optimization I've ever seen. When I brought up the frequent freezing and crashing in a support ticket on their discord, I was told "your CPU sucks" "get an SSD also". Thats not incorrect, I have an old CPU. But SL is the ONLY game that gives it problems. I can boot up basically any newer game, and play it with little to no performance problems on average. SCP SL frequently freezes, crashes, and disconnects me from games. They push out content updates, but never fix the underlying code, as it gets worse and worse. When I started playing SL, I had no problems with it, but with every update, the issues slowly get worse. I've seen better optimization for clunkier games who make less money off working on it.

From launch, No Man's Sky was a decent game. It wasn't a game for everyone, but I liked the concept and there werent really any other games like it at the time. It's a game about a galaxy filled with things you might find in a galaxy. It's literally like an early advanced galaxy sim. That appealed to me. That was what the game was supposed to be at the core. It is not only one galaxy, but 256 unique galaxies. It is big and relatively empty. Sometimes solar systems with 8 planets only have one planet with life on it. Sometimes you land on desolate rocks. But sometimes you land on amazing planets filled with life.

I'll conceed to PR being handled poorly. But many of the promises given back then have been fufilled, and multiplayer is just one of the few left. No Man's Sky has a future like no other game. The game released 2 years ago was simply the core of what was, and is, to come.

EDIT: Much more time has passed. Actually, No mans sky has had multiplayer for longer than it hasnt now, I think. Its much more fleshed out than it was back then, with an online hub and more things to do than ever.
There are a lot of quality of life changes across the board. Difficulty is now extremely customizable. there are a lot of options. Lower prices, make prices higher, make everything free, resource abundancy, resource cost, fuel cost, hyperdrive requirements, hazard protection drain rates, so on. They still have the default settings of creative, relaxed and survival, but say you are playing survival and you really wanted to buy a specific ship that you really like visually, and you cant afford it. You could change the settings right there and then to make it so that you can buy anything, buy the ship, and then set it back, so that you get the ship you like instead of missing out on that chance. If a part of the game isnt for you, then you can reduce it, or turn it off.

Thats just one of the bigger QoL changes, but there is a ton of new stuff, and lore. So... Its good, ya

Let me start this out with how much I love the Dishonored series, excluding the Death of the Outsider simply due to the fact that I haven't played it (and also think its kind of a lame idea). But let me follow that up by saying Dishonored 2 is certainly no Dishonored 1. Dishonored 1 had a better slew of characters, and the DLC added even more depth to characters you hated for the main game and also introduces the main villian of dishonored 2. Now lets get into this review.

Dishonored 2 has a lot of goods and bads to it, but I feel the good out weighs the bad, and a lot the bad only exists in contrast to Dishonored 1. So I'll start with what makes the game great. It has tight controls, fluid combat, and a whole lot of ways to play the game. While your first playthrough limits what powers you can chose from, starting a new game + allows you to access all the powers in the game, through upgrades obviously. This allows for a lot of ways to play the game, from hoping into another person and walking past the guards, to spawning clones of yourself that can take out enemies at a distance. It's all in the way you decide to play. You can slaughter everyone, knock everyone out, or even just slip by entirely unnoticed. Not into hiding corpses of the dudes you killed? Summon a rat swarm to eat up those bodies. You can even reject getting any special powers and go through the whole game with just your weapons.

But there are some stains on the game. The story is the same for both characters, the only change being the voice connected to your character, and the thoughts they have. Personally, I like Corvo's character better. I feel like Emily developed weird and she doesn't really feel like the same person you were protecting in the first game. I get that she got older, and is empress, and whatever. But I feel like they didn't really do her justice when it comes to developing her character. I also feel as though they simply recycled the villian from the first game's DLC. Like they couldn't make a good new villian so they just popped in an old one. Which brings me to the fact that they made the Death of the Outsider its own game, when it could have been DLC. It uses a lot of assets that are already in Dishonored 2, and honestly would have made for a good DLC, but not an additional game. It just feels like they wanted the cash grab, so they said it was a whole new game, when it just isn't. The next point hurts one of my positive points, but whatever. The story isn't very replayable. Once you play through once, you've probably seen most of the game, at least if you didn't rush through your first playthrough. Then the main reason to play through a second time is to play as the other character, which as a said earlier, only changes what your character sounds like and what they have to say. Technically your powers do depend on what character you chose, but only for your first play through. Other than that, you simply have choices to make that change the end of the game. The magic of the world kind of fades away after the first few playthroughs. Things that used to make areas feel unique simply become mild annoyances. Some areas of the game you can accidentally bypass as a whole. My example is that in one of the chapters you need to go get a lock code for a door. There is a whole chapter of the game centered around just getting the code, but there is also a pretty hard riddle that doesn't really answer much. But apparently it answers enough that you can just keep guessing and it'll just open. A whole part of the game, and I literally missed it on my first playthrough. I didn't even know that it was a whole chapter I was skipping past. You could say that its just part of the play style, but that was apparently a lot of content that you can just accidentally bypass.

Well, the cons seem to be pretty long, but I still love the game, and would still recommend it despite its flaws. Even if you can abuse certain aspects of the game to make even the hardest difficulty ridiculously easy.

Early Access Review
This game is just not good, and seems, for the most part, a clone of DayZ. Now, to you without money, friends, ect. go ahead, play it. But if you can afford it, take DayZ over this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The game is good, yes. I go think that there are some parts of it that are not all fantastic. It is a new game. I suggest getting it at some point soon. But after it has some time to get to fixing any thing that my be wrong with the game. If you are gonna buy this game right now, get Wolfenstien instead. I kinda wish I did. Uplay has been working fine for me
