Streets of Rage 4 is a worthy addition to the series and one of the best games in it. I played through it with a friend and we had a blast! Grab a controller and a partner and kick some ass! You won't regret it.

If you are a fan of the Genesis (Mega Drive) Mutant League games or NFL Blitz then you will love this game!

Early Access Review
The new controls may be on a learning curve for some but once you get it, it makes since. This is a more realistic control scheme. Previous skating games have primarily used a single stick for board control. In reality, two feet are used and that is what is mimicked with the analog sticks. The easiest way to think about it is the L Stick is your left foot, and the R Stick is your right foot. The L Trigger is your left shoulder, and the R Trigger is your right shoulder. I also like the options they give you in regard to controls. You can change a lot to suit your style. I mean for a first day early access game it's ran fine. Only minor glitches and those have been graphics based. I did get launched like 30 ft in the air once, but the was gnarly and was immediately forgiven. I already finished the first challenges, and that was fun. The Replay Editor is cool to play with and has a lot of options. My only complaint here is the camera gets snagged in replays if an object is in it's pathway. Then again, like I said, day one. Outside of skating and the replay editor, I like the apartment interface and enjoyed messing around with it. The customization is bare at the moment, but it was cool seeing a few real skateboard companies in the apparel and decks. For, a day one early access game, it's fun. I like what I see and I can't wait to see where it goes. So, thank you crea-ture and don't f**k this up!
