this is the question i would love if y2kbetting could answer, basically my brother and I are currently working on an alternative website to csgl. we wrote down things that people are criticizing at csgl, and with solutions to fix these problems. For example we only want to allow items above 10 cents to be bet to remove some strains from our bots. Now my question is, even if there was a perfect cs go betting site (can't exist IRL), would people transition? Or would they stay on the flawed website, because theyre used to it?

Hmm, I think if you were able to run it perfectly people could move over, however it would be hard to compete with csgolounge as they don't take a rake and initially there wouldn't be much of a reason to switch over even if you also didn't take a rake. Outside of the bots being down sometimes and the rare screw up on their part they actually do a decent job with their site. Good luck to you but I unless csgolounge really falls apart I don't see any site taking them over.

If i hadnt had a lot of my time i wouldnt have considered it! And atm it's more of a hobby, so no biggy if it isnt successful

If you want to earn money i suggest building a raffle site, we all know how profitable it can get with low investments :D, i wanted to create one but with little money and being under 18/21 I can't do shit.

TBH a rake wouldnt matter as long as you have reliability and transparancy. The formula isn't hard to copy and wouldn't take much effort to outdo. I would be happy do discuss this at length.
