网站的站长Bilge表示，V社Steam的算法更倾向于推荐那些销量好或者关注度高的游戏，对于那些玩的人很少，但是评价很高的游戏很少会得到曝光。Bilge和他的团队决定基于用户评价来设计一个新的推荐机制，他们先后尝试了7种不同的算法，对不同项目的权重进行反复调整，最后终于确定了一个方案。
