FINALLY!!!
I am now the ULTIMATE WISHLIST GURU and I am proud like a baby.
5000 wishlisted games - collected within the last two years - wasted lots of hours and still happy to get more games in my wishlist.

The 'negative' thing:
Valve still can't handle my wishlist to load it up smooth and I guess it will be ALWAYS a problem. And do you know WHY? The wishlist is the maybe the UNIMPORTANT thing on Steam; it brings NOW MONEY for Valve BUT I STILL my wishlist - a wishlist I never can "gaze" on my own. But that's ok - I see the counter on my Games Collector Showcase and of course I WILL contunie this hobby.

... It's wishlistin' - the most borin' thing on Steam for the most on Steam. But everbody needs something that is marked as a minority but a big thing for someone like me!

It's about time to finally announce that the removal of EVERY kind of Steam activation from someone's wishlist is working now for 100%.

Following wishlist items now will be removed automatically:
Direct Steam Purchases » instant removal after a successful payment
Steam Key Gifts (*) » some seconds after redeeming
Steam Keys via "ADD A GAME" » between 1 and 30 minutes after redeeming

(*) HumbleBundle, IndieGala & Groupees Steam Key direct activations

Hi Wishlist Collectors!

Games which you redeemed on Steam via a Steam Key, will not removed from your Wishlist (~95%). As I became a GAMING GOD, I redeemed several games via Steam Keys before but my Wishlist didn't removed anything and the counter kept with the same amount of items. You can go to your Wishlist to remove any item next to your "adding time".
Just let me know if you can confirm this "issue". :)

Hello everyone!

I thought just why not posting an announcement where we wishlist collectors could brag with our wishlisted items. ;) I just "updated" my wishlist in the last days with games, DLCs and apps and I almost reach the "3k" line. Added EVERY item that I still could buy on Steam. Still working on adding more specific and reginal items like Russia etc.

So, at the moment I have 2870 wishlisted items! (Maybe I am #1 with that, can't say)

If you want you can post your amount of wishlisted items and I'll add it in the announcement. :)
