We regret to inform you that our Garry's Mod servers may be closing due to inactivity from players. The player count for the last 2 month now has been at 0. Also Garry's Mod has been much less popular than it was in the past.

We had a great time catering for the server and updating it every single day to make your experience on the server better every time you hit that connect button!

Due to our Terms of Service (TOS), refunds will not be issued to users who donated.

This was a very hard descision for us to make and we are hoping you understand why we made this descision.

If any new gameservers within the Vortex Gaming community become active in the near future we will be sure to inform you!

We are currently still coding an Automatic Donation System for our server!

Until then, when you donate, we have to issue you your required rank manually. If you choose to donate, please could you add [VG] Ryan or WopperTheBigMac on steam.

The reason why we ask you to do this is just so that when the superadmins and you are online together, you can log onto Vortex Gaming and we will be able to issue you with your rank!

From what I read, this is a VAC related issue, or something to do with Garry tryin to stop cheaters, remember with the change log, banned the cheaters, well yeah some people seem to think Garry has made a mod to the VAC coding which in result has caused this for all these people, another idea is that a steam update could be a cause, theres been three steam client updates this month already, I've seen people saying they have been getting the error as long as one week ago all the way up to now, so any of the updates in that time could of caused the issue. I hope this infomation helps, its all I've managed to scoop up round the internet.
