Finals are over for me and I have a LOT more time to answer questions. Unfortunately I can't get to everyone that adds me, whether you are in this group or not. I thought about it, and I created a solution to this. I am now hosting an insider group for trading, where I will add you and we can discuss trades 1 on 1, over teamspeak, mumble, etc. I am also available to do pricechecking and help discuss market trends and what is good to invest in. I've received a lot of questions asking "How do I trade?" or "How do I make profit from my skins?". Unfortunately these questions are very broad and it is hard to answer them in a succinct manner. In my experience, the only way to trade up is to actually TRADE. Don't be afraid of bargaining with people with items you want, and don't be afraid to add them. Lots of times people who deny all adds will still politely discuss a deal with them if you clearly state the reason for adding them and treat them with respect and good manners. The only real way to learn "How to trade" is to start making some trades, notice some trends on what items people really look for, and perhaps different ways to negotiate and make deals with people. There is never a time when a deal cannot be made, unless you choose to turn down the opportunity. A trader, even though reluctant to give his skins up, may always bend at the right price and offer. Don't be afraid to negotiate prices, outright decline potential offers, even if they are just above the price you are willing to pay. Patience is how traders like us solve problems.

Patience determines your success. The longer you are willing to wait for a good deal, the juicier the deal and the profit. Don't ask me "How to trade?" because in retrospect it's just like every other thing, even playing. JUST DO IT. There is no need to take notes on what I say because notes don't make deals people.

(Sorry if this came off as a bit rough, it's the truth. To learn to trade, you must TRADE.)

News has been released that basically states that Valve is not taking any action against the Griffin, and that should the owner of the original drawing decide to take it to court, he may.

This basically means that Valve has dropped the issue because of a few technicalities, such as the image being flipped.

He may or may not (my guess is it will not go big) take it to court and take legal action. What this means for you is that the Griffin will NOT, at the moment and for a while, go contraband because the DMCA complaint was countered. I quote from my previous post,

"Although I am not 100% sure it will become a contraband item, I feel that it is unlikely for it to become very rare, being only a restricted quality rifle at the moment. It is up to you to decide whether or not to keep yours and wait for a possible change.

I do not think it will blow up as the howl did, but if you have one, I would advise trying to trade it for an extreme price (one person sold his FN Stat Griffin 1:1 for an FN Howl), or to simply keep it and see what happens (especially if you bought it cheap). There's no real point to buying them now at like 200$ for the FN ones if you don't own them already. The howl hype, being a covert, good looking (imo) rifle, was a very different example, and a restricted quality rifle just doesn't have the same potential, being very common already."

I personally would recommend selling if you haven't already, it doesn't have the potential to be anything close to what the howl did.

Because I'm getting about 20+ adds per day about trading questions such as:

"Can you pricecheck this?"
"Can you help me get to a knife, like the 12 other people in your guide?"
"Can you tell me if this is a good deal?"
"What should I invest in?"
