We are a group that specializes in Role Play! We currently run a whitelisted 150 slot Rust role play server. You no longer have to fear leaving your base and being KOS. For us it's about devloping a story for your character, having player-to-player interaction, and mostly importantly, having fun doing it!

To get whitelisted on the server, simply register on www.vikinggamingworld.com and fill out an application. If accepted, you will be granted access to the server!

We have a Community Teamspeak 3 Server for everyone to use in game to make it easier to communicate with your friends as well as other players on the server. It is also the recommended method for requesting assistance from admins by joining the "Waiting For In Game Admin" channel:

Please do not spam in game side chat for assistance from admins or Player Complaints. Side Chat is only for "in character" roleplay chat only. If you have a complaint, or need assistance from an admin, use Teamspeak, post on the website forums, or try the Steam Group Chat Room.

Rust server will be shutting down on 6-2-2016

Hello everyone,

I regret to inform you all that I will be shutting down the Rust server on June 2nd. Due to life situations, I am no longer able to devote the time that is necessary to run a successful server and work to keep it populated. Back when I started the server, I had no idea that it would be as successful as it has been. Due to that fact, it quickly became apparent that running the server was going to have to be much more than a hobby, but rather a full time job. For months, from the moment I woke up until the time I went to bed I was working on the server, helping players and also managing complaints. Keeping the server alive also could not have been done without the help from all the amazing admins I had both past and present, so I'd like to give a big thank you to all of you guys and girls!

In closing, I'd like to thank each and every one of you who has joined our awesome community and have enjoyed playing on the server! We had a good run and a lot of fun playing on the server, and I'm glad to have met and role played with many of you!
