but the gem price is based off the money price so it doesn't matter. what matters is the lower money value means less gems

If you sell your cards for gems, you must then sell those gems to buy something from the steam market. The price of gems can drop any day. You're also losing 30% of the original price.

No you trade gems for cards with people then they can sell it or use it to make packs. gem prices can also be really high where sacks have sold for 80 cents or more before. its just during a sale so they are low right now but usually around 70-75 cents.

I'll make sets and badges out of them, or I'll trade them for cards at 6 cents. I just want people not to sell their cards below their price. I just feel sorry for them. This action is only 2 times a year, and each time traders try to deceive everyone, and make money on it. plus unless sale cards go down to 4 cents they are always worth at least 55-60 gems if you sell them in the market based on sack price
