The only limit is how much people are willing to spend. Someone has already got a 228,000 level badge this summer. And that's way off the historical maximum recorded badge of 528,167 levels from the Summer 2018 sale.

I feel really stupid, I had no idea that the summer/winter sale badges go beyond level 5. I just assumed they worked like regular badges in that regard.
