The server has been getting more active again just recently. Some stuff has changed. The most notable thing is a lot of content has been removed. The server is almost vanilla now. It still has all the core addons/mods, it was mainly weapons and gadgets that got taken out.

GMod was also recently updated which screwed the scoreboard up. Name colors, ranks and titles do not display on the board anymore. Liquid said he would come up with a fix much like the one prior to the update. Thnx bb ;)

Finally, a message to all staff.

A lot of people have been relieved from their ban. A lot.. We will no longer go ban happy. If someone rdms and leaves ONCE, then ban them for a day or two. Use your best judgement until I come up with a better answer for that. If we keep perma banning people for every little thing, we will eventually ban the entire GMod community. It seemed pretty damn close to that before.

Also remember that you have other options than perma ban. You can kick, slaynr (which will persist even if they leave then come back in the future), and ban for X amount of time.

Two new things to the server today. Liquid has now become the first and only Superadmin. He has just as much power as I do, with the exception of changing the server files themselves. So now if you have an issue with the pointshop or whatever and I'm not around, he can help if he is available.

In other news, Liquid and Jackets both came up with fixes for the scoreboard titles. I could only use one of their fixes since they were both different so I picked Liquid's fix because it also added ulx commands to allow him and I to change name colors and titles without even having to go into the server files like usual. However, with this change you need to be online for the name color and title to be added. Also certain characters are not allowed such as hearts for example. So if you're a VIP and you need a rank or name color change, let Liquid or I know when we are on and we'll help you.

To be more helpful, provide colors via RGB format. RGB looks like, (255,255,0) which is the color yellow.

Oh and the color RED is not available for names.

Server Cleanliness - Won't really affect most of you, but I'm removing the individual groups for every VIP. There will no longer be need for that. It'll clean up the coding part for me, and it'll make the targeting and groups in the server easier to manage.


No titles for now - With the removal of individual groups, titles will be removed along with it. BUT hopefully that is not for good. As of now, custom name colors will still be in effect, but since titles were paired with groups (hence why VIP's had their own), titles will be no more, at least until I am able to provide VIPs with titles a different way.


Titles may never come back - I strongly doubt this will happen, but it is unwise to not count it as a possibility. If I can not figure out a way to make titles work with people without making a group for them alone, then they will not be coming back. Individual groups for VIPs will be gone for good.


In addition to the above, there will be an open superadmin slot now. It has only one slot of availability. There is already a person eligible for the position but they will not receive the promotion if they do not want it. I'm sure most of you already have an idea who it might be. I'm doing this because I've been busy lately with my new job so I'm not always around to make changes that only I can make. With a superadmin available, more can be done when I'm not there.

So this also means there will be a new admin, a new mod and +1 slot open for mini making that a total of 4 open spots for mini-mod.

There are currently 6 open spots for Mini-Mod. 3 of those spots will be taken up tonight.
