Hey, original mod creator UltiMario here.

After several years of inactivity, I've come back to start updating TF2x10 again. I'm working on delivering changes to update weapons to be more in line with TF2 weapon updates, as well as adding weapon adjustments to make some weapons feel more fun to use and feel more properly x10'd.

There are a lot of changes, however I won't go over them all yet, since it's still a work in progress.

However, I do have a server where you will be able to test these updates. The server will be up for around two days (although I might keep it up longer).

Probably not safe to play TF2 for the time being.

TL:DR, hackers have the TF2 source code and can do nasty things with it.
