Ah the custom maps X10 server... It all started when you were X10 Competitive Maps server when I first created it. Then I converted it into custom maps server...
Almost 4 years of running and allowing players to have fun while experiencing some of the whackiest maps that TF2 community can produce was a real treat.
However, it is time to kill it.

Let me explain.

It all started when Meet your Match update kicked in. It killed majority of playerbase and even myself lost interest in TF2 for a long time.
Because of this, a ton of community servers started dying out. Mine, Kaabii's, probably Outpost server, you name'em.
I've neglected my servers and they have become a wasteland. No one joins there anymore.
Now that the Jungle Inferno is out, the interest that I had for TF2 sparked up once again. It is not as strong as it used to be when I first created X10 Stock Maps, but it is still better than nothing.

Plus, Overwatch is a complete grindfest and filled with nothing but trolls and shitheads. Especially Competitive mode. Don't even touch that mode.

That being said, it wasn't enough for me and the players to revive the server back from the dead.
While it does not cost me extra to run both Mario Kart and Custom Maps server because they both run on same machine to host the server, I really don't want to waste $20 a month just for two completely dead servers that no one joins that much anymore. I want to use this machine to fullets without wasting any potential to it.

It was not easy for me to make this decision, but I have to. I want to do something worthwhile that I enjoy with the server machine. Maybe different game server that isn't TF2, but may have limited slots, but it's something. Terraria or Don't Starve Together perhaps? Who can say?

Now now don't you go crying because you will no longer experience Trainsawlaser and Wubwubwub X10 just because the custom maps server will be gone.
I may be killing the server, but I will be migrating EVERY custom maps that I saved on the server files straight to my Stock Maps server, rename it, and boom! Luigi's Hybrid Maps X10 server.

Again, it was not an easy choice to make, but I wanted to make something out of my machine as well as reduce the hassle of constant crashing of the custom maps server whenever I am offline.

Thank you for supporting my X10 Custom Maps server. I am very grateful that you guys are still willing to support my server by simply playing in them whenever there are some population as well as people who played in the server in the past and all donators.

As for my donators, your perks will be kept in my main server.

Also I'm not dead and I may play on my X10 server a bit more frequently now.

Because screw current status of Overwatch.

X10 Custom Maps Server 72.5.195.50:27015 will most likely to shut down by this weekend. Lookout for group event as I will host one within this week.
