These are the Requirements and Expectations for all JA Moderators, make sure to read this page thoroughly before posting an application.

If your application is unsuccessful it will be removed and you will not be able to re-apply for 3 weeks. To keep applications as genuine as possible we are unable to discuss reasons for them being declined.


Requirements to become a Moderator:
Age: Moderators should be at least 17 years old, but maturity isn't black and white, exceptions may be made.

Friendliness: Moderators should be approachable and polite when engaging in conversations.

Fairness: Moderators must be objective in every situation, favouritism and the opposite isn't tolerated.

Cheaters: You're gonna have to deal with hackusations, and a lot of them are gonna be false, it's important that you can recognize a cheater and not ban players who're just good at the game.

Communication: You must be able to speak and/or type English at a conversational level.

Presence: We prefer to recruit staff who have a physical presence, Moderators who actually play regularly on our server. It's expected that you are active atleast 15 hours per month, exceptions may happen in situations that call for it.

Responsibility: Moderators must be responsible, fair, and justified when utilizing their powers. Any Moderator found abusing their powers will have their rank removed without warning.

Discord: Responding to relevant inquiries, topics and discussions is a must to show you are still a contributing member of the team. A lot of important decisions we make stem from our Discord so as a member of the Staff you should be a part of that.

Bans: Moderators cannot have any legitimate trade-, source-, or VAC-bans on record, and if you have bans or commblocks in our servers please explain why from your perspective.

Expectations for all Moderators:
  • We expect you to enforce the rules at all times, whether it be on the servers, the group page, the forums, or the Discord.
  • Regain peace on the server if anyone is genuinely upset.
  • Have a clear understanding of when a server is having fun, and when it's utter chaos that needs to be defused.
  • You should know the answer to any legitimate question asked, or at the very least where to find it.
  • Inspire the community. Show the world how great jumping is. People should look up at you in awe, not down at you in distaste.
Tests:

You will have to pass a couple of tests directed by VolKan. These tests will be centered around your performance in certain situations.

I am 17 years old.

Servers: I normally play on US East servers and am most active on JA2.

About Me :D : I have been jumping for the last 4 years and am low T5. I collect sneakers and enjoy talking about unusuals. I like to talk and interact with other players and am active in discord voice chat aswell as the #music channel.

Why Should I Be A Mod: I think I should become a moderator because I am active on the servers and pay attention to the chat and how others act. I have experience handling arguments and issues regarding unhappy players. I am available for most of the day from 2:30 EDT to 11:30 EDT.

Previous Experience: I have experience moderating although not for Jump Academy. I am the head moderator for a discord with 200 members and enjoy and take the role seriously.

I do not wish to moderate the PvP servers. :drewhappy:

I go by the name W1cked on steam and my username on discord is w1cked1278. I am 20 years old.

I play on EU servers especially on the JA2 servers.

I am very interested in motorsport and exercise and love interacting with people. I started playing TF2 in October 2014 and soon after began my rocket jumping journey on JA classic. I remember how daunting it was being a new rocket jumper, however, I was surprised at how nice everyone was.

The reason why I want to become a moderator is because of the community. In 2018/2019 I stopped playing games and only came back to TF2 around 4 months ago. I once again had to start at a lower jumping level, but this time on JA2. I was instantly surprised at how open, nice and helpful people were even without being official teachers. Since then I have completed the JA2 map with help along the way. I have also seen people trying to disrupt the community and admire all the mods that help to preserve it. I would love to be a part of the community and provide the same enjoyable experience I had to everyone else. Everyone deserves the best possible time on JA servers.

I do not have any official moderating experience but have been an unofficial teacher on jump servers.

I do not wish to moderate the PvP servers and I have no bans whatsoever.

Hello!

I am Ping-viini. Simply you can call me Ping. My discord username is remavix. I am 19 years old.

I usually play on EU servers, mostly JA2 and Soldier Top Picks.

My hobbies are mainly targeted towards computers. I like gaming, editing, photoshopping and playing / configurating with virtual computers. I am a very social person and I communicate with others very often. I've played video games since I was 4 and stumbled upon this wonderful game in 2015. Ever since that date I've been on/off this game but right now I feel like this time it is here to stay. Also a good thing to mention, I come from the cold land of Finland. If I am ever needed in a voice call I can say that my accent might be a bit rough, but others say it is understandable.

Now why do I want to become a moderator? I want to do good for this server, since I am very passionate towards this server. I started practicing rocket jumping a few months ago and for me, this is a go-to server for that. Since I play very often, I think I can supervise the servers while I'm doing my own thing. I have such a good experience of moderators and admins being such good sports and very inspirational and I'd really love to join in the roster so I could provide more than I already am providing and possibly make myself known in the community. I really appreciate what you all do and the community you have gathered.

I rarely find myself in the PvP servers but if there is a need for that, I can always go give those servers a look.

I used to be a moderator on now discontinued Minecraft server, Mineplex.
I do not have any bans on record.
