Confused Teacher(?)

I became a teacher to help with the people who need help on jump academy. I helped one guy (Mercwithoutamouth) and it was pretty chill and I did pretty well (since the tf2 jump academy servers weren't available because tf2 just updated at the time) but then a little bit before that, I saw the teacher apps in here, and I was confused because it didn't say anything about teacher apps until I saw the thread, So I'm not sure if I'm allowed to teach or not, because I am also too young (younger than 15, which are the teacher requirements that it says in the teacher apps thread) so I'm not sure if the apps are for server teacher commands, or for actually being a teacher on jumpacademy.tf

Being a teacher is never illegal. If you would apply for a teacher when you are 15 years or older however, you get the in-game rank and the /go to and /bring to commands. There is a small thing where you can apply as "teacher" without getting the real teacher commands and rank: as of the Senior Years Update, a study system has been implemented on the new website: http://jumpacademy.tf/ . Simply add yourself as a mentor and you will get added in no time. It works counterclockwise too: you can click on the mentor's names and add them on steam, and then ask them if they could help you with a jump you find difficult. Note that when you set yourself as a mentor, you might be overflown with friend requests, depending on how much students are there at that moment.
