The headlining new map is:
fw_halofoundry - Remember Halo 3? No? Well it was 13 years ago now. Foundry was notable as it was intended for use with Forge mode. You don't know what Forge is? Well it was just like Fortwars, where in you place you props to build custom maps. Its a natural fit.

Simply put weekends will be the time to play FW again. Instead of spreading what few people are still playing across a few servers, if we all connect to one it might actually get more than 5 people at a time.

The server currently runs all the classic FW maps but I am working on making new simpler ones.

The server is based in the U.S. and the IP changes often, so don't bother adding it to your favorites.

fw_skylake_2ctf (2flag CTF) Widened to better suite the mode
fw_gas_redux_night (Control Points) Fixed and updated version soon
fw_idle An idle map you can build on

This group is also under new ownership.

So, I've just noticed I am the only administrator left on the group, which probably means the original creator has given up on FortWars as well, and since I don’t even remember anything about this mod, and barely play TF2 anymore, I want to know if anyone wants to take the leadership and try to bring it back to life!

Whoever is interested and actually wants to do something about it, just comment here and I will try my best to choose someone that looks interested, or maybe do a poll or something like that.

I may take a while to read and respond to comments, because I don’t use steam a lot during the week, but I will try to be here every day around midnight GMT to read and answer the comments
