Okay, oddly enough Super Galaxy Squadron has TATE support, but only for the classic version of it. I don't quite get why the classic version has it but not the EX_Turbo, but there you go.

Hi Kutharos, I took a look at Super Galaxy Squadron but didn't see any actual TATE mode settings in the game options. Do you mean it supports TATE if you rotate your Windows desktop?

Hi U.S.S., thanks for the recommendation. Added to the list. I tend to favor sprites over this hand-drawn Unity-engine look, but that tune in the trailer is irresistible, so I'll nab this in a sale.

As for distinguishing types of tate support, yeah, I hear you, but when I started this I hadn't thought that far ahead, so I'm kind of stuck with the TATE tag (it STILL hasn't caught on, but I work in the industry, so I'll have a little word with Valve, maybe I can pull some strings and make it more official. I have no idea what the threshold is to make a tag official). In my review blurbs I always distinguish between 'real' tate vs 'fake' tate, so I've got us covered. There are still few enough games with tate mode support on Steam that making this a manual endeavor is a viable option, until a glorious future when we're suddenly flooded with thousands of vertically scrolling shmups all with native screen rotation...

How odd. What would prevent you from sending in a photo of any old PC and still running a cabinet, if that's what you wanted to do? Also a burden on the dev, I guess. I'm only interested in a few tables (manly the Star Wars ones),so we'll see next sale...

I have yet to try any pinball games in tate.

I'm looking forward to Groove Coaster when it goes on deep discount at some point.

Mobius Final Fantasy is a free-to-play game that was originally on mobile (where it was originally played in portrait mode). The HD version on Steam defaults to landscape, but it does include the option to play the game in the original portrait mode, so you can play the game how it was originally designed while still taking advantage of the remastered graphics.
