Ever felt your game being blurry? Hazy? Unclear? Unsharp?
There is a high chance this may be because of TAA being within the game or due several technology features.

TAA is on by default in UE4/5 equipped games (among other game-engines)
This often is neglected and disregarded to be tuned for said TAA to be looking decent or proper.
This results in poor image stability and rendering of artifacts on the final render image. Features like DLSS/FSR2 use Temporal data to make their technology work.

Often it is neglected due to not understanding, or lack of effort or given time to make things look right.

Then there is another handful of gamers that do not either enjoy these effects or have problems that they cannot see any blur. This problem often leads to the gamer getting teary eyes in trying to play these TAA-enforced or enabled video games. (I am one of these)

We like to make a difference in the gaming industry of game developers to allow us to turn OFF TAA settings/features and/or request games not to enforce TAA.
Yes the game will look shimmery, aliased terribly and poor image quality. However other methods of AA (except FXAA) can suffice to fix this, or use downscale techniques like DLAA (DLSS w/o upscaling) or (DL)DSR.
