Sorry for lack of new recommendations. I've had an extra course-load in school recently and just haven't had as much time to game, and I generally prefer to finish the games before I recommend them. I'm putting up a new recommendation today for a game I played last year that I originally deemed not quite old enough to put on this list to show I'm still active.

As soon as summer starts I'm going to get farthur into production of my video review series. These will cover all older games I play, whether I recommend them or not. You can view the first episode (which is, be warned, a very rough cut, and the script really needed a rewrite) here: Old Gold Episode 1 I assure you future episodes will have cleaner editing and probably less of my face, I feel the cuts to me are awkward unneeded (it isn't helped by my camera's poor audio)

These video reviews will cover a wider spectrum than just Steam games I recommend, for one thing there will be negative reviews and I can use other systems as well, such as reviewing the original Super Mario Bros. or Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

I also am going to start up a forum for group members to discuss the potential for Old Gold online gaming events if they so desire. Any online game will be accepted as an option as long as it is older and still playable without too much issue, Tron 2.0, Quake Live, and Serious Sam are possible examples. If something has enough interest shown in a particular game I will try to schedule an event for members to participate in! I would also love to start doing give-aways to give more players opportunities to play some great older games that deserve to be remembered!

Today we not only celebrate Halloween, but the 18th Anniversary of one of the games I have recommended: I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream. I have chipped in by finally attempting something I've wanted to do for over a year, the very thing this curator was based on.

Old Gold: a review show where I look at the games of yesteryear and reevaluate them for a new audience.

Well, moderate success, almost in the top 50. Thank you for following, if anyone sees this remember you can join the group and participate in discussions as well! I will only recommend games I've had a good chance to sit down and play, however I want to hear from the rest of you!

While I will remain in charge of the curator, if I'm not interested in the game you recommend and it qualifies, I could post your recommended game on the curator based on your comments! This will also give games I DO have nostalgia for (Myst, for example) a chance to get on the curator list, because I can't.
