Looping Bug
On any game or on desktop, music player loops endlessly even when Looping is toggled off.
Using Windows 7, and no real steps to recreate, it just use it and it loops.

Same here, just add it to the list of things Valve will never bother fixing.

I think I'm not alone in this one.

ISSUE:
Steam Music Player is olways on repeat, even when it's toggled off.

OS:
Windows 10 (Build 10586.71 Version 1511)

STEPS:
  1. Play any music track.
  2. Toogle Repeat off.

RESULT:
The Music Player repeats the track, even if Repeat is toggled off.

EXPECTED:
The Music Player should stop playing music when Repeat is toggled off.

I don't remember the last time I used the music player while playing a racing game, but this happen on both desktop and Big Picture mode.

Are you using the Metro For Steam skin? Because I've noticed that the bug didn't start occurring for me until I began using that skin.

i'm use metro skin and unoficcial patch for it - bug still occurs. (steam beta)

I could turn it off after having experienced this bug as well. I haven't tried to reproduce it yet but I believe you have to set it to repeat, then reboot Steam and _then_ turn off repeat.

I've also accidentally listened to the first song in my playlist a couple of times without having realized it, but surely this can't have anything to do with this … right?

Whatever I did, the playlist didn't loop when it reached the end this time.
