It's not that bad. The shift there is small enough that it could just be sampling noise :)

Also, if it's helpful, here are some thoughts[cheesetalks.net] on why the Steam survey might not be a particularly useful indicator.

Interesting insight, Cheese. So for steam survey to have any meaningfull value we need to know how many people actually participated.

I feel like some solid details on the sampling methodology (which doesn't need to impact on the anonymity of participants) would go a long way toward assuaging the concerns that I have.
