Can't play game I own

I'm part of a steam family & it seems I don't have priority if someone is playing one of my games.
ie a family member plays Elden Ring, but I'm the only one that owns it in the family. It's not allowing me to launch the game as it says it's in use by a family member.

It was changed from the old system. You asking them to quit is more reliable anyway.

This used to be an option, and the "owner" of the game should be able to kick others if they want to play. The current system is idiotic.

Yeah 100% agree with that. You should get priority if you're the owner - need this fixed hopefully soon.
