It would be nice to receive some response from Valve to the feedback on this forum
I followed the forum activity, the subtle changes to the FAQ, the fixing of some bugs, and the implementation of some quality improvements. It has been almost four months since this feature was launched in beta, and Valve has been pretty silent about some topics discussed in this group. It would be really nice to have some updates after four months, like knowing the time of full release, if the feature is getting some changes, and the reasoning and solutions. Any kind of news would be better than this silence, at least in my opinion.

When updates happen, they will be listed in the beta client update announcement.

Thats not how Valve works sadly. They never comment on stuff like that, if they decide a suggested update is a good idea they will implement it with a patch and you will get some patch notes when the client updates.
Thats about their max level of communication.
That was always Valve Modus Operandi, they never acknowledge problems or similar, they just quietly fix them with an update if they think its worth it.
