There's been some confusion amongs discord/steamcommunity members about whether or not there will be any more data resets. Short answer is No.

During development, data resets occurred during major updates. However, the mod is feature-complete and the only new updates are small QoL patches. As a result, there's no reason to reset player data anymore. However, if for some reason you wish to reset your data, you can do so with the !newdata command. Please know that using this command cannot be undone.

As the current build is completely stable (with > 5 days uptime before I manually reset it), tested to be generally lag-free even with higher player counts, and all the known bugs are patched out, and because I personally would like to reach level 200 and see the other half of the mod I coded that's locked away to endgame, there will never be another reset.

Now, I will probably continue to push small quality of life updates, as well as minor bug patches if and when they're found, but at a slower rate (Edit: once a week, probably, like industry studios do) than during development of the main RPG. (Edit: QoL updates may include weapon/difficulty/loot weighting changes that are retroactive based on player feedback.)

If you find some special quick path to endgame, awesome. If you use it, look, the RPG is instanced, so do what you want with your own data; the !newdata option is available to you if you cheese yourself into outrageous difficulty land.

Hope this clears up any confusion.

Edit: The grenade launcher might still give crazy XP, who knows? Just be aware that attribute levels do contribute to difficulty ever-so-slightly and it adds up over time, and only better gear will offset that.

Major thanks to everyone for helping test the RPG over the years and sharing the cheese and exploits, because it taught me to scale difficulty off of everything in your repertoire.
