Francais: Otaku (おたく en hiragana, ou お宅 en faisant usage du kanji) est une personne qui consacre la quasi totalité de son temps à une activité d'intérieur obsessionelle comme les mangas, animes, ou encore les jeux vidéo. Le terme japonais est composé de la préposition honorifique « o » (お) et du substantif « taku » (宅) signifiant « maison », « demeure », le « chez-soi ».
