WE KILL YOU

As all of you are aware, JRB left. According to him, he won't be back. And as many of the old timers here know, he's done this before. Many of us joined specifically because of Matt -- he's the reason I joined. I enjoyed playing with him, and I will enjoy to play with him again shall he come back.

That being said, for some strange reason I'm appointed as the new owner of RDS. It's not something that I really want to be honest. I only want to play and have fun with all of you. I started out being friends with Matt (JRB) but I've became friends with many of you guys, even going so far as to friend request you guys on FB (so you can see all the pictures of me on the boat, at the bar, or playing volleyball... yeah, c'mon).

So, let me make this perfectly clear. RDS will not die with Matt leaving.

I've also been told that many of may be leaving for Micah's new group..... Ilumination something or other.... and if you really want to leave, I'm not going to beg you to stay. I will remain steam friends with each and everyone of you, I hold no grievances with you, and truth be told, I thought about quitting too... but I'm not about to pull a bitch move and quit just because we had one bad apple.

So that being said, if you have made up your mind about leaving, I really do wish you the best.... however if you are on the fence, I ask that you give me a chance to make things right. I think most of you know me well enough that I'm pretty fair guy. Even when Adog was kicking people adnauseum way back in the day.... I hold no grudges and I'm going to hear everyone out.

With any change in ownership, there's going to be some pain. But as we're starting the slate clean, I ask simply that you give me some time to right the wrongs of the previous administration. Yes we had disagreements, but who hasn't? People argue, they debate, and some of them even get heated.... and just so you know, I'm going to encourage that. If people don't bring up items that concern them, those problems just cascade and fester into something bigger....

Now, each and every one of you know when you are being a bitch. Let's try to keep that attitude out of here, but sometimes the only way to get one's point accross it be a bitch about it... for those situations let's still keep it civil, or use another medium to get our point across.... steam chat, vent, maybe an email.

I understand some people don't wear their tags.... I'm not sure how I feel about that. My thought is if you want to belong to our group, and the only prerequisite is you wear a tag, then you should wear it if at all possible. Pub stomps notwithstanding....

Again guys, I'm am now the owner of RDS. Things will change, and with your input hopefully for the better. I mean it when I say if you are leaving I wish you the best.

If you have any concerns, please post in this thread. Mr Fun.... I know the no drama rule is in effect.... if we can suspend that rule for this thread until we get any and all problems on the table I would appreciate it. (it would be hilarious though if you delete this post because I don't have a backup..... :D )

I don't care how petty the problem you think you have is.... if you have a problem, please post it below. If you don't like the color of the toejam your sister has when she doesn't wash her stank feet for three days and it's causing you problems shooting zombies, post it. I doubt we can fix it, but at least we can give you a new nickname... :D

I really do mean it guys, I want RDS to remain as intact as possible. For all the old timers and most of the new folks -- you guys know me. I'm going to listen to ya, take everything you say into account, and try to address any and all issues. And then when we're done we're going to kill some zombies.

The most important part is though that we have fun. We don't need to turn this into politics.
