There's just no point in actually playing now.

Essentially, it wasn't a bad run. However, it's just not fun, which is the point of the "summer fun season" in the first place.

Me being the main caller isn't fun. Not being listened to isn't fun. Not being able to know where everyone is and what people are doing isn't fun. It's not that losing is necessarily a bad thing, but when we lose a match THAT badly, it just proves we just crumble under a slight bit of pressure.

We're all great players, but the team composition isn't there. It doesn't work. It's just a pain in the ♥♥♥♥ when we can't work together well enough to stop a simple push because we panic slightly and don't know what to do when we're pushed back. We've tried to work on this in the past and it tends to work once, and only once. Then we get destroyed by some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because we can't pull it together.

Not only that, but we don't have Goose for the next 4 weeks, and we won't have Fab for the last 2 weeks. I don't really have the effort to try and get a sub in for an Engineer. Getting a sub heavy for the last match was hard enough. Honestly, it's just not worth continuing.

I think us folding now is the best thing rather than me just getting more annoyed at not being able to find subs for the matches to come and us not being able to scrim because we don't have players when we need them. I don't want to lead a team anymore, it's too much work for little to no reward.

Thanks for all the time you guys have put into the team. I really appreciate it. We're all still friends by the way, don't worry, I don't hate any of you. This isn't about me dropping the team because I'm angry at any of you; that's not the case. I just don't see a point in continuing when I'm not having fun main calling and when we won't have an engie/scout for the last few weeks.

Good luck with all other teams, and I hope we can still chat in Mumble and stay friends, because you're all rad. Maybe we'll be on teams together in the future, who knows.

EDIT: By the way, it's also not Goose or Fab's fault either. I kind of assumed I'd be able to get subs, but by the experience I've had of trying to get subs for one match, it's just not going to happen, so don't blame those guys, it's not their fault. Stuff like that can't be avoided sometimes and they did let me know with plenty of time.
