Greetings pioneers! Thanks for helping us test out the best game you've ever played. We're making great progress but we still have a long way to go. Your help and support along the way is greatly appreciated - notmycar will be a much better game because of your involvement!

Going forward, we will be posting important info about the game and upcoming events in our Steam Group page, as follows:

> Weekly build updates, new features/functionality, and other important build notes will be posted in the "Announcements" section.
> We may also open some items up for discussion and feedback in the "Discussion" section.
> The "Events" section will list out upcoming playtests 2-4 weeks in advance.
> You can leave comments for us in the "Comments" Section; we'll do our best to reply quickly.

notmycar Receives Unreal Dev Grant

NMC Studios today announced that they are the handsome and proud recipients of a 2018 Unreal Dev Grant. Epic Games, creators of the Unreal Engine, have created a $5,000,000 development fund to provide financial grants to innovative projects built in and around Unreal Engine 4. Awards range from $5,000 to $50,000, and there are no strings attached. NMC Studios continues to own the notmycar IP, are free to publish however they wish, and can use the grant funds without any restrictions or obligations to Epic. The grant award will be put toward furthering the march to Steam Early Access later this year.

FEATURES

Announcing New Playtest Weekends

Today we're announcing four weeks of new pre-alpha playtesting weekends for notmycar. You can get your hands on all the latest updates in notmycar starting this Friday and every weekend for the next four weeks. To make things better, anyone who signs up at notmycar.com for playtesting by Friday May 25th, 2018 at noon PST is guaranteed to get a key so they can start playing right away! The full playtest schedule is below:

May 25 & 26 - 6pm - 9pm PST
June 1 & 2 - 6pm - 9pm PST
June 8 & 9 - 6pm - 9pm PST
June 15 & 16 - 6pm - 9pm PST

What for update in 5GB?

I too have an error indicating I need to update, but no update yet via steam. I assume it could roll out before the servers go live, but I don't know.
